We know you're excited about the testnet launch, but that's just the beginning of our journey. Let's pull back the curtain on our full roadmap to mainnet, because we believe in keeping our community in the loop every step of the way.
Mark your calendars – our testnet officially launches January 3rd, with tester missions beginning the week of January 10th. This gives our community a full week to get acquainted with the network before our official testing begins. In this phase, we're introducing three core modules:
XM: Cross-Chain Communication across Web3
Web2 Integration Framework: Bring any static Web2 data on chain
Proof Of Representation: Our revolutionary Consensus mechanism
Whether you're a builder ready to deploy contracts or a tester willing to debug and provide detailed feedback, you'll need to bring your A-game. This isn't your typical "click around and earn tokens" testnet – this phase is for pioneers who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty with some real technical heavy lifting. In this early phase, the numbers of testers will be small, a dedicated allocation is available for members who proved themselves during the trials.
As we move into the Alpha phase, we're introducing some game-changing features:
Gas Tanks: Our innovative gas abstraction approach to handling transaction fees
CCI (Cross-Chain Identities): The hub for identity linkage across all of Web2 and Web3
Unified Wallet pt.1: The first stage of our abstracted wallet experience
This phase comes with its own unique reward pool, exclusively available to Alpha participants. The introduction of Cross-Chain Identities, Gas tanks and our Wallet means that we will have many more user-focused tasks in Testnet, opening up our testnet program to a wider set of participants.
Beta is where things get really interesting. We're rolling out:
Unified Wallet pt.2: Enhanced features and functionality
L2PS / Subnet: Layer 2 Protocol Support and Subnet implementation
PQC: Post-Quantum Cryptography
Live Oracles: Bring Real-Time data on-chain
We'll be stress-testing at scale, introducing our broad feature set, and running the network through its paces. Beta participants will have access to a fresh set of rewards, and this is where we'll start seeing the real-world applications of what we've built together, with rewards for network testing, user testing of Demos Utilities and also partner solutions.
While our Token Generation Event (TGE) will happen before mainnet launch, the full network deployment represents the ultimate milestone we've been working toward. This phase will deliver the full implementation of our yellow paper, bringing together everything we've built and tested in previous phases. Mainnet launch will bring its own exclusive rewards program, marking the transition from testing to real-world value creation.
Sprint Structure and Participation
Each phase of our rollout will be carefully timeboxed and organized into focused sprints. We're not just throwing open the doors and hoping for the best – this is a structured, methodical approach to building and testing. Those at the top of our leaderboard will receive invitations to participate in these sprints, ensuring our most engaged community members can contribute meaningfully to each phase of development.
Throughout each sprint, participants will focus on specific features and functionalities, with clear objectives and deliverables. This sprint-based structure allows us to iterate quickly, gather focused feedback, and maintain the high quality standards we've set for ourselves. Important Notes for Our Community
Each phase has its own dedicated reward pool – no retroactive rewards, no exceptions
Technical knowledge requirements will gradually decrease as we progress through the phases
Early testers should be comfortable with command-line interfaces and basic blockchain concepts
Builders can access the testnet environment throughout all phases
Leaderboard position directly impacts your access to earlier testing phases
For builders: You'll have unlimited access to our testnet environment. Deploy, break things, rebuild, and help us create something extraordinary. We've got a dedicated support channel ready to help you navigate any challenges you encounter.
For testers: This is where the leaderboard comes into play. Only our top contributors will get early access, and yes, you'll need some technical chops. If terms like CLI, JSON-RPC, and network latency make you break into a cold sweat, you might want to wait for our later phases.
Remember, this isn't just about rewards – it's about building the future of Web3 together. If you're ready to be part of something bigger than just another blockchain project, roll up your sleeves and join us. The testnet launch on January 3rd is just the beginning of our journey to revolutionize how the world interacts with blockchain technology.
Stay tuned to our channels for detailed guides, documentation, and community support. The future isn't just loading anymore – it's about to go live.
