We are SO pumped to announce our project to the community!

Takara Lend is the newest protocol preparing for launch on Sei, and we couldn't be happier to be building on such a bullish blockchain. We’d like to thank the community for believing in our mission, which is to become the leading liquidity layer on Sei.

In this write up, we will take some time to explain to you what we are all about, and also a few things to expect from us in the coming month.

Takara Lend is a native liquidity protocol on the Sei ecosystem based on an overcollaterization model. Takara offers lending services for a range of assets including SEI, iSEI, fastUSD and more.

We will leverage Sei’s high-performance consensus mechanism to enable faster and more economical transactions. Working with features like parallel block processing and low-latency allows Takara to provide a robust DeFi experience for borrowers and LPs.

Rewards Program: we will be announcing the details of our incentivization program in the new year. For now, we will be rewarding our top content contributors with the OG discord role. Members with the OG role will be heavily awarded with points & special benefits. To earn the role please participate in community activities, and contribute to content creation.

Audit: Our website is currently undergoing a penetration test with Zellic. In addition, we are in the process of scheduling our smart contract audit with Zellic as well.

Documentation: Our docs are in the final stages of review, and our community can expect them to be released at the same time as our website.
