Recently, ten illegal suspect who have obtained a guarantor pending trial came to Kaili Public Security Bureau for public confession, and one major suspect has been sent to Kaili detention center because they participated in the sale of citizens’ personal information. Now they will be subject to legal sanctions and regret.

On the morning of October 14, Qiandongnan Public Security Bureau held a press conference on the special action of “Jingwang 2021” of Qiandongnan public security organ in the conference room of the Bureau.

In addition to reporting the achievements made by Qiandongnan in combating the crime of infringing citizens’ information, it also focuses on several gangs arrested this year and with great influence in Qiandongnan.

“In recent years, the crime of illegally obtaining, selling or providing citizens’ personal information has become very prominent, seriously disrupting the social management order, and has become an upstream crime of online fraud, extortion and other illegal crimes. We have launched key rectification against such acts.” At the press conference, the relevant person in charge of Qiandongnan Public Security Bureau said.

It is understood that since May 2021, the public security organ of Qiandongnan Prefecture has organized a special action to combat and rectify the illegal and criminal activities of infringing citizens’ personal information, focusing on the illegal and criminal activities of infringing citizens’ personal information in the fields of communication industry, second-hand car trading, home decoration and home furnishing.

It is worth mentioning that criminal gangs with Zhang moufeng, Wang Mou, Yang Mou Sheng, Tang Mou and Qi Mou as the main members, which have a great influence in Southeast Guizhou and involve a wide range of illegal trading of more than 100000 citizen personal information, were also arrested in this special operation.

The person in charge said: “the gang collected the information of house purchasing owners in Southeast Guizhou through various means (including the owner’s name, ID number, contact number, house address and other information), and illegally sold them to some decoration companies and home furnishing enterprises for telemarketing at a price ranging from 0.5 yuan to 10 yuan each. Their behavior is suspected of seriously infringing on citizens’ personal information.”

At present, the public security organs have taken criminal coercive measures against 8 suspect and imposed administrative penalties on 11.

Iron fist to crack down on online Telecom fraud

The profit of each registered account ranges from 3 yuan to 20 yuan. These accounts are often provided to criminal gangs for the implementation of telecommunications network fraud, online gambling and other illegal crimes.

In May this year, Qiandongnan public security organ focused on cracking down on such acts, took criminal coercive measures against 61 suspect, imposed administrative penalties on 77, and educated and admonished 10.

In cracking down on the crime of network telecommunications fraud, since this year, the public security organs in Southeast Guizhou have arrested 744 criminals involved in “two cards”, destroyed 11 criminal gangs involved in “two cards”, and seized 102 mobile phone black cards. On September 7, Kaili Public Security Bureau cracked a case of using virtual currency to provide money laundering services for overseas fraud gangs, and arrested 12 suspect, involving more than 26million yuan.
