We’re excited to announce that Ultimate Digits is officially joining the Chainlink BUILD program. As a part of BUILD, we aim to accelerate ecosystem growth and long-term adoption of decentralized telephony and banking by gaining enhanced access to Chainlink’s community, backers, evangelists, industry-leading oracle services, and technical support, as well as incentivizing greater crypto-economic security, in exchange for a commitment to provide network fees and other benefits to the Chainlink community and service providers, including stakers.

Ultimate Digits: A Web3 Super App

Ultimate Digits’s mission is to develop a Web3 super app that simplifies crypto transactions using phone numbers as crypto wallet addresses. These can be users’ existing mobile numbers, or virtual mobile numbers provided by Ultimate Digits. This would establish phone numbers as the primary identifier for Web3 utilities and simplify onchain transactions, similar to how the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) simplified banking transactions in India. All this will be done in a manner that protects the privacy of users’ mobile numbers on-chain.

By providing +999-prefix anonymous virtual mobile numbers as NFTs, linked to users’ current mobile numbers, Ultimate Digits supports an intuitive Web2.5 bridge. Our plans include the provision of decentralized telephony services using LoRaWAN nodes in a DePIN approach, as well as other value-added services such as on-chain OTPs, and human-readable transaction summaries over text. Our product suite also includes the Ultimate Bot - a Telegram mini-app that links users’ Telegram handles to their wallet addresses, enabling them to make easy transactions from within Telegram while gaining access to the full suite of Ultimate Digits features and services.

Why We Joined Chainlink BUILD

Ultimate Digits joined BUILD for enhanced access to Chainlink’s vibrant community and to maximize the benefits of security and reliability that Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure provides. As part of BUILD, Ultimate Digits will receive key benefits, including access to and integration of Chainlink CCIP to enable seamless cross-chain crypto payments, VRF for OTPs and verification codes, and Price Feeds to support in-app asset and feature pricing, along with access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, among other benefits.

In exchange for these services and community access, Ultimate Digits will make a percentage of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time. These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.
