In the realm of Web3, gaming communities are increasingly common among native projects. Decentralized reputation, even under core team oversight, represents collective empowerment and a pathway to transparency. Yet, swiftly identifying fitting contributors to these gaming communities and aligning users/investors with suitable opportunities is pivotal. Effectively navigating the diversity of gaming communities and involving users in this journey demands robust tools and thorough data analytics.

Over the past few months, our team has closely collaborated with the Gas Hero team to bring this idea to life. This collaboration aims to enable users to track and showcase their in-game achievements and reputation scores in innovative, programmable, and chain-agnostic ways.

Metopia as a Reputation Layer

Metopia is a comprehensive reputation layer focused on attestations and reputation, covering EVM chains, 6+ data providers, and millions of transactions, making it the decentralized reputation database. The platform assigns users’ onchain reputation scores and credentials by non-transferable badges or direct storage onchain, including multiple items:

#Transactions, #Trading Volume, #Identity & Reputation, #Onchain activities, #Assets capacity, #off-chain proof.

All data will be calculated and its embody will be stored on the blockchain for transparency and immutability. The badge and credentials reflect users’ achievements, growing with active participation, and signify contributions and influence within the community. Higher scores may lead to more access and potential opportunities.

Gas Hero Score Algorithm

The gamer reputation score is primarily determined by contributions across five modules: Loyalty, Consumption, Assets Capacity, and Game Activities (including ability and activity level). We employ a weighted ranking method to calculate a normalized score for each module. The CRITIC algorithm determines the weights assigned to each module, which are then combined with the scores to derive the final reputation score. Additionally, our system features eleven specific user engagement labels. Players can use these labels to track their own or others' engagement metrics, gaining insights into gaming habits and sharing progress with others. Labels include:

1. Account Age, # of account days since the first transaction

2. Badge Holding Days, # of total holding days of badges

3. Genesis Holding Days, # of total holding days of Genesis heroes

4. Claimed Income, # of total internal claimed rewards (GMT)

5. Minted Super Useful Eggs, # of total minted eggs

6. Burnt Gas, # of gas consumed (MATIC)

7. GMT Net Inflow, # of net inflow (GMT)

8. Bred Heroes, # of heroes bred, heroes from Fragment & Capsule

9. Buried Heroes, # of recycled heroes and consumed heroes

10. Evolved Heroes, # of total evolved heroes

11. MOOAR Trading Volume, # of total trading volume on MOOAR (GMT)

As a significant step for Web3 gamers' reputation, FSL ID and attestation attestors (attestations will be open soon) allow users to not only benefit from onchain gaming reputation across the entire system of FSL and Metopia, but also receive token airdrops and rewards from other ecosystem partners.
