I’m reading [The Entangled Life](https://The Entangled Life), which is about the lift of fungi, Money & Promises which is about the origin of the modern banking system, and the [Revenge of the Tipping Point](https://The Entangled Life)

Though it seems, on the surface, that they have nothing in common, what they both share is that it is networks that make the world function.

Things that leverage network effects have a built-in advantage over things that don’t leverage them well.

Thinking in terms of of nodes and edges, layering that on top of everything is probably an interesting lens through which to look at the world.
