Ah, we’ve found ourselves at yet another NFT bridging tutorial—truly the pinnacle of Web3 adventure. Here are the steps for this one:
Note: We encourage you to bridge all your Tardigrades to Berachain. That’s what the cool kids are doing. But to start, you’ll only be able to select one to activate in the game. This could change in the future… but nothing in Web3 is guaranteed. Or financial advice. So bridge according to your fee appetite, young padawan.
You’ll need a wallet (e.g., MetaMask) with:
Arbitrum One network configured.
Berachain network added. Add here if needed.
Sufficient ETH on Arbitrum for gas fees. Like $3 worth.
Your Tardigrade NFTs held on Arbitrum. You can look them up here.
Navigate to the Kingdomly NFT Bridge.
Click on "Connect Wallet" and select your preferred wallet (e.g., MetaMask). Ensure you're connected to the Arbitrum One network.
Select Source and Destination Chains
Source Chain: Choose "Arbitrum One".
Destination Chain: Select "Berachain".
After connecting your wallet, your NFT collections will appear. Locate and select the Tardigrade NFT you wish to bridge (e.g., BeraTone or BeraLand Tardigrade).
Kingdomly charges a flat fee of $3 per NFT bridged, excluding gas and LayerZero fees. Review the total cost displayed.
Click on the "Bridge" button. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Approve the transaction to proceed.
Wait for Confirmation. The bridging process involves locking your NFT on Arbitrum and minting it on Berachain using LayerZero's Omnichain Messaging Protocol. This process may take a few minutes.
Verify on Berachain. Once the transaction is complete, switch your wallet to the Berachain network. You should see your bridged Tardigrade NFT in your wallet.
