How much is the monthly salary of housekeeping workers in poverty alleviation workshops? When it comes to this issue of concern to society at present, many people generally say about 2000 yuan. No, less! The average person can get about 10000 yuan, the highest! You may not believe it, but in Runda garment factory, Yashan Town, Bobai County, Yulin City, the wages of workers working here are so high that they are enviable.
On July 4, “decisive battle, decisive victory, grassroots level and general attack” -- a large theme interview group of 1000 reporters came to Runda garment factory, Yashan Town, Bobai County, Yulin city. The “ticking” sound of hundreds of sewing machines in several garment workshops gave reporters the same feeling - “it’s so busy here!”
“With the impact of the epidemic slowing down, now our factory has basically reached the previous production level.” Tan Ping, general manager of Runda garment factory, told reporters that since May, the garment factory has successively received several batches of orders from Zhejiang and Hunan, and is now stepping up production.
“Among the flowers”, the reporter found that in the corner of the workshop, a male worker was immersed in his work. His name is Jiang Bin. He is from jiangwutun, Meng Village, Yashan town. He is also a person admired by everyone in the factory.
“Are you a poor family? How long have you worked here? How much salary can you get a month now? Have you got rid of poverty yet?” The reporter asked.
“I used to be a poor family. I worked here in the second half of 2017. I got an average of more than 6000 yuan a month. I took off my poor hat last year!” In the face of a series of questions from reporters, Jiang Bin was not shy and hidden.
Qin Ping joked: “he hasn’t finished yet! He is the highest paid employee in our factory. He has received more than 10000 yuan at most!” Tan Ping introduced that Runda garment factory implements a piece rate wage system. Jiang Bin is the only trouser waist machine operator in the factory. The clothes and trousers produced by the factory every day go through his process. When the factory rushed the order, about 4000 clothes and trousers passed through his hands every day. According to 0.12 yuan per piece, Jiang Bin could get nearly 500 yuan a day.
With more than two years of efforts, Jiang Bin not only successfully lifted himself out of poverty last year, but also built a two-story small foreign building. He said that he had worked in a garment factory in Guangzhou before 2017 and mastered the technology of making trouser waist at that time. Although he had an income of more than 4000 yuan a month, he couldn’t take care of his family and always felt indebted to his family. Now I can not only eat at home with “unique skills”, but also take care of the elderly and children. I feel much more secure.
In Runda garment factory, there are more than 160 long-term workers like Jiang Bin, of which 46 are poor households. Qin Ping told reporters that the employees in the factory are basically left behind women and poor households in the surrounding rural areas. When there are many orders, some skilled workers can receive 5000 or 6000 yuan a month. In the past two years, the scale of the garment factory has gradually expanded. Last year, it produced more than 1 million pieces of clothing and its operating income exceeded 15 million yuan, which has contributed an important force to the poverty alleviation of poor households.
Li Yijin, director of human resources and Social Security Bureau of Bobai County, said that with the development of enterprises, they have stronger ability to resist market risks and more stable employment. The operating income of this garment factory is expected to exceed 20 million yuan this year, which is expected to become an enterprise above designated size. The county is providing targeted assistance to garment factories, providing subsidies in stabilizing posts and promoting employment, so as to help enterprises become bigger and stronger.
Bobai County is a poverty-stricken county at the level of autonomous region, with a registered poverty-stricken population of 169000, including 75435 labor force from poor families.
