We are excited to announce that RapidNode now supports running a Farcaster Node with just a single click!
Farcaster is a leading decentralized social networking platform, with its primary application being Warpcast. It operates on the Social Graph protocol, which captures relationships within social networks independently of third-party platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Google. Farcaster raised $30 million on June 13, 2022, in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Multicoin Capital, and Standard Crypto.
A major player in the growing SocialFi space, Farcaster is expected to see significant growth from 2024 to 2026. In 2023, Farcaster's DEGEN token airdrop saw values increase over 600 times, yielding up to $60,000 per account for those who held onto their tokens.
Step 1 - Prepare with Rapid Nodes by Creating an Account:

Visit the Rapid Nodes platform here and sign up to create a new account.

Make sure to add sufficient credits to purchase a node.
Step 2 - Purchasing Farcaster Node

Go to your RapidNode dashboard.

Select "Farcaster" and choose your desired rental duration.

Confirm your purchase.
Step 3: Complete Node Form

After purchasing, your Farcaster node will appear in the active nodes tab. Follow these steps:

Open Warpcast, go to your profile, click on the three dots, select About, and copy your Farcaster ID (FID).

Create an account on app.infura.io

In your Infura account, click on your API Key, go to Active Endpoints, and ensure only Ethereum Mainnet and Optimism are checked.

Save changes, then go to Active Endpoints and copy the respective RPC URLs. Paste these details into the form.
Step 4: Check your progress on Infura Dashboard
Once your node is “Deployed”, go to your Infura and you can see the progress.
And that’s it! Your node is now up and running on RapidNode.
