0G (ZeroGravity) is a scalable data availability layer and modular AI blockchain with a unique architecture that provides essential infrastructure and data storage solutions to expand the blockchain’s reach.

Their highly scalable, low-cost, and fully programmable data availability (DA) solution addresses the shortcomings of alternative solutions like Celestia and EigenDA, which recently launched on the mainnet.

0G Labs recently raised $35 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Hack VC, with contributions from Delphi Digital, Animoca Brands, OKX Ventures, and many others.

They recently launched their testnet “Newton” which focuses on testing the basic functionalities of their design.

As a testnet node operator, you can engage with the network by deploying and integrating storage nodes into the storage network and validator nodes into the consensus network.

Here's how you can deploy a validator node on the testnet using a one-click method:

Step 1: Log In to RapidNode & Add Credits 💰

1. Sign Up or Log In to your RapidNode account. If you don’t have one, sign up here.

2. Go to the Wallet section and add credits to ensure uninterrupted node operation.

Step 2: Purchase a ZeroGravity Node 💳

1. On your RapidNode dashboard, navigate to the dashboard.

2. Select ZeroGravity Node from the available options.

3. Confirm the purchase and complete the transaction.

Step 3: Enter Your Moniker Name in RapidNode

1. Visit app.rapidnode.xyz/active-nodes.

2. Click "Add Inputs" in your ZeroGravity Node subscription.

3. Enter your Moniker Name (Moniker is a name given to your validator profile) and click Deploy Node.

🔴 This step is MANDATORY to activate your node.

Step 4: Monitor Node Deployment 🔄

• After purchasing, go to the Node Deployment section.

• Use “EVM Address” claim tokens from the Faucet.

• Use “Evmos Seed Phrase” to import it into Keplr or other Cosmos Chain Wallets.

🔴 Note: The “Valoper Address” will automatically appear once the validator is created.

Step 5: Claim 0G test Tokens From Faucet

• Visit: Faucet Page

• Enter your EVM Wallet Address and request tokens.

• Make sure you have atleast 1 0G Token. It may take you upto 10 days to claim.

Step 6: Initiate Node After Tokens Are Claimed

Once you have already claimed atleast 1 0G Token, initiate the node so that we can start creating the validator.

• Click on 3 dots from the active nodes section near your subscription.

• Click on Initiate Node

• Finally click on “Initiate Node”

Step 7: Monitor Your Node Deployment

Once your node is completely deployed, you can monitor your Node Deployment by going to UptimeKuma.

Your login credentials are:

Username: Login email ID
Password: Will be shown
