Nillion is a decentralized network that allows secure computations on encrypted data, redefining how high-value data is managed and protected. By running a Nillion Node on RapidNode, you contribute to the network’s security and functionality, with the potential to earn rewards.

This guide will walk you through setting up your Nillion Node on RapidNode.

Step 1: Log In to RapidNode & Add Credits 💰

1. Sign up or log in to your account on the RapidNode Platform.

2. Click "Buy Credits" and select your preferred payment method to fund your account. These credits are necessary for purchasing and maintaining your Nillion Node License.

Step 2: Purchase a Nillion Node 💳

1. Go to Dashboard and choose "Nillion" from the available nodes

2. Select the duration you’d like to run your node (e.g., monthly, yearly).

After purchasing, check the "Active Nodes" section to monitor your node’s deployment status.

Step 3: Add Nillion Testnet Faucet to your wallet 🔄

1. Create a wallet (We recommend using Keplr)

2. Import Nillion Chain

3. Add some tokens by using the Nillion Testnet Faucet

   This wallet will be required for gas fees during the initialization process.

Step 4: Import Your Keys 🔑

1. After your node is deployed, click on the "Private Key" button to access your node’s keys.

2. You will need to verify your access using OTP to view the credentials.

3. You will get three keys in total:

   1. Private Key: Your node’s private key

   2. Wallet Address/Account ID: Your node’s address

   3. Public Key: Your node’s public key

Step 5: Initialize The Acruser #️⃣

After importing, it's time to set up the Acruser. This part involves connecting your account to Nillion and verifying your setup.

1. Go to Nillion Verifier Dashboard

2. Select “Verifier”

3. Select “Setup for Linux”

4. Input your AccountID and PublicKey"

5. Click “Verify”

If everything is set up correctly, you’ll see a “DONE” indicating that the process is complete

Step 6: Import Rapidnode Wallet and Claim Faucet 👀

1. Import Private Key from Rapidnode Dashboard

2. Go to Nillion Faucet and claim some tokens

Note: Wait for at least 1 hour before proceeding to the next step to allow the verifier to be processed.

Step 7: Run The Acruser 🧑‍💻

1. Go to the Active Node Tab

2. Click on Three Dots in your Nillion node subscription

3. Click on “Initiate Node”
