With this epic expansion to the BEAM network, we are reaching a significant milestone in our roadmap to fulfill the mission of $ASG and the City of Greed. Let's delve into the details of the expansion and explore how it establishes a crucial foundation for our next venture.
$ASG on Beam Bridge
Users can now bridge $ASG from Ethereum to Beam and vice versa using Beam Bridge. With this expansion, $ASG has gained the ability to expand to any other chains and still ensure a single unified supply across chains utilizing LayerZero’s Omnichain solution.

As we perceive each chain to be a distribution network to deliver the game to more players, we will continue partnering with more chains to attract more players across chains.
City of Greed Game on BEAM
Players now can join the game on BEAM and earn $BEAM token!

The game on Beam will operate as an independent server with its own game smart contracts, including the land smart contract. Therefore, Land NFTs are not bridgeable. In other words, Land NFTs will stay on the chain that they are minted.
As the tax collected will be in the form of $BEAM token (the native token of the chain), the game on Beam will also give out Beam tokens as rewards instead of $ETH.
For Neko Holders, Land Claim portal will also be available to claim lands on Beam. As previously communicated, holders can use the Nekos that they have not claimed land before to claim new lands on Beam.

City of Greed Economy on BEAM
Although most of the game features & gameplay will be the same as City of Greed on Ethereum, there are some changes in the economy of this version. The gas fee on Beam is extremely small compared to Ethereum, this helps us remove the entry barrier for new players and onboard more players. Utilizing this advantage, we decided to focus on the mass audience by reducing the overall stats of the game’s economy: Lower the entry cost and the payout!

Defeating the Boss on higher land levels will reward you with more Normal Gifts & higher $Beam drop chance.
