After years of unremitting efforts of the transmission and inspection center of Zhengzhou power supply company and relevant members of the office of Zhengzhou power facilities and power protection leading group, through a lot of hard work such as on-site inspection, on-site investigation and data collection, 289 hidden dangers seriously threatening the safe operation of 110kV to 500kV transmission and transformation equipment in Zhengzhou power supply area have been sorted out.

Recently, the office of Zhengzhou power facilities and power protection leading group issued the notice on carrying out centralized rectification of potential power safety hazards in Zhengzhou, which is different from the special treatment in previous years. This is the first comprehensive treatment plan issued by the government department.

The notice requires that all power users bear the main responsibility for the hidden dangers of power facilities and use electricity scientifically and reasonably in strict accordance with relevant regulations; The administrative committees of the development zones and the people’s governments of districts and counties (cities) shall assume the responsibility of territorial management within their jurisdiction, clarify the responsibilities of relevant units and departments, and actively coordinate and cooperate with the power supply department to rectify the hidden dangers of power facilities; Zhengzhou Electric Power Protection Office will conduct regular supervision and inspection, and those who have power operation safety accidents within their jurisdiction due to ineffective rectification will be investigated for corresponding responsibilities according to law.

It is reported that this is a major measure for Zhengzhou power supply company to make full use of government resources for power facility protection, explore a new mode of government enterprise linkage for power facility protection, and take the lead in power facility protection in Henan Province.
