New Beginnings

Dear Holders,

With the recent news around Microsoft/Minecraft NFT EULA changes, NFTWorlds ecosystem is no longer the same! Microsoft banned NFTs from Minecraft, and went against innovation and web3 in general without any notice. It is clear that our community is not welcome there. As the core NFTWorld team pivots to creating their own game/Metaverse, it’s important our holders are up to speed on the impact and pivot of WRLDMind.

Our original vision as most of you know was to help develop the NFTWorlds ecosystem, creating an exciting DApp/game experience, and provide unbelievable utility to our holders. The past few months we’ve had the opportunity to deliver some unbelievable products (marketplace, in-game minting, and more) while developing and growing as a web3 based team. We have learned so much the past few months about marketing, web3 technology, and community engagement thanks to all the amazing projects we worked with, and most importantly our loyal community! We have and continue to value transparency with our investors and as such, it is important that you know our vision has adapted.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to ProxCity (proxcity.xyz). WRLDMind is officially being rebranded to ProxCity. Lets dive deeper into what this all means…

ProxCity is a blockchain take on the classic city simulation. ProxCity will introduce new gameplay + blockchain elements to simulate the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience.

Owning your land and staking it is easy to learn, but hard to master. As the owner of your city you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water, electricity, police, fire fighting, healthcare and much more along with ProxCity’s ERC20 based economy system.

Rest assured - anyone holding a WRLDMind passport will be able to claim a piece of ProxCity per pass owned at no cost. WRLDMind passports will be rebranded to founders passes, meaning anything our team does moving forward you’ll reap the benefits. Think of this as an added utility on top of the original WRLDMind vision.

August 1st, 2022 WRLDMind minecraft game servers will go offline. We are doing a full backup of the existing servers to ensure we will have a smooth transition to NFTWorlds new game engine in the future. Yes - We still love WRLD and will be here to support it once again, when it’s time! Currently there is not much we can do in the NFTWorlds ecosystem aside from wait, so we are halting the current roadmap to create our own ecosystem and game. The WRLDMind DApp and marketplace will continue to be live and supported. We would love and hope to follow through with the vision of WRLDMind that we all believed in and will closely monitor the development of the NFTWorlds game engine.

With a solid in house team and community support we feel more capable than ever and it is important we take advantage of this opportunity. This is our chance to spread our wings and grow. It’s time for our team and community to build our own ecosystem, and game!

Over the next week we will be releasing ProxCity Whitepaper - this will help answer any GameFi questions you may have. During this time we will also be performing rebranding across discord, social media, and WRLDMind collection.

As most of you know, our team is here for the long term. What we built is very special to us, and the love and support shown by the community keeps us going daily through these hardships. This is a big change for most of you and I ask that you join us on this exciting journey. ProxCity is an idea we’ve thought about doing for quite some time, however we never had the opportunity to develop. Now we do! Thank you for the support as always, and I hope you all become the best landowners inside ProxCity.

Thank you for everything

-Dhruv (Patei)
