I fell a bit depressed but all fine . I get why you used sad instead of depressed. You wanted something that conveyed sadness but wasn’t just crying in a corner. It could be that he’s sad about losing Emma and you’re sad too. It could also be sadness from seeing Sush and bringing back ghosts. I’m assuming you’re used to the black and white mentality and wouldn’t use the color which might require you to think about it again. Don’t just jump to the next line and say “Is he crying sad tears or is he crying sad tears?” you should consider if it’s really crying or just crying.
It may have been sad but Emma wasn’t sad. That’s the thing, her sadness is so long gone, you don’t really get to feel it anymore. It was sad but it’s so much better to use sad instead of sad. All those tears were crying out of happiness. They were crying because she was happy.
