You must construct additional pylons!
Pylon is Frame's new infrastructure service, built to expand Frame's capabilities and help you to operate onchain with confidence. In Frame v0.6.7, we introduced our first Pylon service: Pylon EVM.
What is Pylon EVM?
Pylon EVM is a JSON-RPC endpoint that allows us to improve the privacy and quality of the default connections offered in Frame. Starting with version v0.6.7, Pylon EVM will serve as the default JSON-RPC connection for several chains in Frame, including Mainnet, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base, Görli, and Sepolia.
Retiring Previous Endpoints
Coinciding with the launch of Pylon EVM, we plan to retire our Alchemy and Infura endpoints by the end of September. This move aligns with our goals to enhance user privacy and reduce dependency on external services.
Starting today, we'll continue to remind users that previous Infura and Alchemy Endpoints will be deprecated. You can access native Pylon EVM support for popular chains by updating to our recent releases, starting with v0.6.7.
Upcoming Pylon Services
Pylon is more than just its EVM service. We are hard at work on additional Pylon services to enable features such as transaction simulation, security checks, full account history, approval auditing, and much more.
Stealth Mode
In the upcoming Frame v0.7 release, Pylon will serve as the sole centralized connection used by Frame. This lays the groundwork for Stealth Mode, a feature we are eager to introduce.
When activated, Stealth Mode allows you to disconnect from Pylon and disable any Pylon-supported features, enabling you to operate Frame in a fully decentralized mode with complete control over your connections and privacy.

Frame v0.7 is slated to be the first version to fully switch to Pylon and will integrate all of the functionality mentioned above into a new, streamlined interface, making operating onchain more seamless than ever.
