SatoshiVM June-July 2024 recap

It took us some time, but the wait is over and we are back with our recap. It was an intense two months since the Summer started, let us quickly go through what has been done at SatoshiVM mainnet and our community!

Development Updates

There has been a lot of backstage work in June and July. The main things we have launched:

• SAVM V2 staking launched and V1 pool retired

• MultiToken bridge deployed on the testnet and currently undergoing audits before mainnet launch

• More wallets integrated into SatoshiVM

SAVM V2 staking

In June we closed V1 pool and launched V2 - a more secure and efficient tool for the native $SAVM staking. All staking rewards have been distributed to the V1 users and no more yields are being generated there.

MultiToken Bridge

The MultiToken bridge is a major part of our efforts to increase cross-chain efficiency. Users are able to transfer multiple mainstream EVM assets (including USDC, USDT, ETH, BNB, OKX and others) from the following chains:

• BNB Chain

• X Layer

• Base

The bridge is fully operational on the testnet; we have finished testing it extensively and are currently preparing to deploy it on the Alpha Mainnet. Before that, the bridge needs to pass a security audit - it’s undergoing one right now.

Chain Abstraction is now available on SatoshiVM

Particle’s BTC Connect Integration dramatically increases SatoshiVM interoperability, opening the protocol for more dApps and projects to build and deploy in our ecosystem!

SatoshiVM Pioneers rewards

June and July rewards for SatoshiVM Pioneers NFT holders have been distributed.

Marketing Updates

The main marketing focus in June has been around launching the first SatoshiVM ambassador program: SatoshiVM Trailblazers. In addition to that, we have started to prepare new exciting things.

SatoshiVM Trailblazers Campaign

The first wave of SatoshiVM Trailblazers started in June and the Trailblazers were already extremely helpful with the testing. We have also received valuable feedback from the campaign participants.

We have already onboarded the second wave of the Trailblazers and in late August we expect to open our doors again to new inspired community members

Artoshi integration

We have partnered with Artoshi, the NFT aggregator and launchpad for the BTC ecosystem. Starting from June, all users can get their SatoshiVM Web3 ID (similar to ENS) through this service.
