Thanks for your patience! Here's the second part of our very first AMA. Just a reminder, you can check the first part here.
As an Anon team, how specifically will you mitigate that by increasing trust and transparency available to holders? Currently mods are the "face" of SatoshiVM.
We don’t think that anonymity and/or pseudonymity per se should be causing trust issues in our industry. A lot of perfectly decent projects are run by anonymous or pseudonymous teams; at the same time SBF and Do Kwon had no issue having their identities publicly known. We’re also working on increasing the presence of the core team in the Discord, so that CMs are not the only representatives of us in the community.
Please share your full token unlock schedule over the next year. How many $SAVM tokens are actually circulating today?
As of May 21, we've got 8,612,397 tokens in circulation. You can check out all the details about our Tokenomics here: https://docs.satoshivm.io/usdsavm/token-distribution#unlocking-mechanism-and-vesting-schedule
When will CEX support direct deposits of $SAVM from the SAVM chain?
We’re working closely with a few CEXs that have listed SAVM, but there isn't a clear timeline for this yet.
What kind of dApps or functionalities are you most excited to see built on the SatoshiVM?
Particularly interested in dApps with mass adoption potential.
By which means do you intend to attract developers to your chain to build on top? If so, will there be a standardized process / do to help them?
We acknowledge the importance of having an active dev community building on SatoshiVM. Developer relationships will become our focus in the near future, sometimes after the major milestones of the Q2 roadmap are achieved.
When can we expect the launch of more dApps on SatoshiVM Alpha Mainnet to increase user engagement? Would you consider something like a Hackathon to onboard dApps and users? There have been interesting suggestions on Discord about this.
Running a Hackathon is definitely something we'll consider at some point down the line. It’s a great way to incentivize developers building on SatoshiVM. Right now, however, we concentrate on Alpha Mainnet improvement and delivering the core features proposed in the roadmap to ensure that everything is ready on the chain level for stable and easy dApps development.
Is there a plan to push Uniswap, SushiSwap, PancakeSwap to support our Alpha Mainnet? I think the traditional EVM DEX also wants to enter BTC L2s.
Not in the short term, because traditional DEX protocols require common EVM assets like ETH, USDT, and USDC to deploy on a new chain. Bridging these assets to SatoshiVM is one of our current development priorities.
When will BTC Connect be active on SatoshiVM Alpha Mainnet bridge and swap?
We’re actively working on it.
Will $SAVM be able to bridge between SatoshiVM and Solana, because Solana collapse many times probably will be great to bring Investors
Solana is a non-EVM compatible network. Developing cross-chain bridges for such heterogeneous chains from scratch is a challenging task for any team. Plus, we always put security first. That’s why we’re not developing a bridge between SatoshiVM and Solana on our own right now. Instead, we’ll look to partner with the most reliable omni-chain messaging protocols in the industry when the time is right.
Do you have a plan to support SatoshiVM Launchpad for new ecosystem members? And the Launchpad is beneficial to our Alpha Mainnet users.
We would consider creating our own Launchpad in the future, yet there is a long way ahead until this makes sense. The reality of the current market is that Launchpads on new chains at the growing phase simply fail to attract enough attention and capital in many cases. This is something which can work at a later stage.
Can you offer us some insights or hints on the initiatives you alluded to in the most recent tweet? Don't you think there should be more active engagement from SatoshiVM twitter handle?
All will be revealed very soon. For now we can say that we will be spending much more effort on cultivating a strong and active community. One of the necessary steps there is proactive communications - meaning, we’re communicating more often and also listen closely to our community and users. Some exciting things are coming and they are just beyond the corner.
Whether the Pioneers NFT just the tokenized $SAVM value or it will have more potential value except token just like $eSAVM in the future?
Both $eSAVM and Pioneers NFT are premium assets in our ecosystem. Please stay tuned for our recent upcoming announcements.
This is the end of our 1st AMA. Once again - our gratitude to everyone who has sent us questions. We’re glad we had a chance to answer some of them and further explain our vision of SatoshiVM.
