Starting from July 1, Jinan Public Transport fully supports the digital renminbi payment function. Passengers can open various digital renminbi wallets and use digital renminbi payment codes to pay for rides when taking buses on the lines of Jinan Public Transport (excluding customized buses). In order to facilitate citizens to use digital renminbi to pay for rides, Jinan Public Transport actively researches and accelerates the exploration of the application of digital renminbi in bus scenarios. In the early stage, it has carried out pilot applications on two bus lines, B52 and BRT5.
