What is UNO?

UNO is a USD stablecoin built by Nostra. It has a  USD reserve-backed model, ensuring each UNO token is backed by either 1 USDC or $1 of cash.

This approach mirrors successful models used by prominent stablecoins such as USDC and USDT, offering a reliable and straightforward mechanism for minting and redeeming UNO.

Why UNO Stands Out

• USD Reserve-Backed: Each UNO is backed by 1 USD or 1 USDC, ensuring stability and trust.

• Buy or sell 1 UNO for 1 USDC: Institutional partners will be able to mint and redeem UNO using USD cash. Users can easily buy and sell UNO for 1 USDC at a maximum fee of 0.10% via Nostra Swap.

• High Launch Circulation: We are capping the initial circulating supply of UNO to 10 million. We will only increase this number if we see signs of adoption, decentralization of user base, and volume traded.

• Strategic Partnerships: Our focus on partnering, especially with gaming protocols,  DeFi, and NFTs, and memecoins, aims to establish UNO as the go-to stablecoin for an array of uses across Starknet and beyond.
