Welcome to the Concrete Garden! We’re thrilled to have you with us. This entirely community-led chapter of Azuki, Beanz, and Bobu holders was first created to connect enthusiasts and create a network of passionate individuals within New York and its larger metropolitan area (meaning we’re friendly to NJ and PA people too! 🫰).
Our vision for Concrete Garden is to create a welcoming and inclusive space – one in which everyone feels comfortable sharing opinions, pooling talents, creating together, and learning. To achieve our vision, we will use a combination of IRL events, promotions, and provide useful resources for all members. We want to make it easy for people to join our community, whether they are completely new to Web3 or already have experience with NFTs and crypto. After all, Concrete Garden first came together over a shared enthusiasm for all things Azuki.

Perhaps you’ve already attended one of our NYC meetups – they’re an absolute blast, and a great way to meet holders in the area. In fact, we just successfully hosted our biggest event thus far during NFT NYC 2023 – with over 250 attendees, consisting of holders, non-holders, and even team members from the official Azuki team!
We also recently co-hosted an exciting event with NYC members of the Bored Ape and CloneX communities, which saw holders of different blue-chip projects come together over their shared love of Web3 – after all, a rising tide lifts all ships. As we continue to grow, we want events and experiences that are grander in scale, but still uniquely ‘New York.’

Thinking bigger
The activations and initiatives we are planning aren’t limited to fun and unique events – we also want to make a positive impact – not just on our local community, but across the many communities around the world that are connected by blockchain and Web3. For instance, we minted our first ever Azuki NYC banner earlier this year, with all proceeds going toward the Turkey and Syria earthquake relief efforts.
If you’re a newcomer and still reading, we understand that the world of NFTs and crypto can sometimes be overwhelming. We want Concrete Garden to be a friendly and supportive environment where people can ask questions, share their knowledge, and learn from each other. Through our initiatives, we hope to help newcomers gain a better grasp of the fundamental concepts, and how they can participate in this exciting and rapidly growing new space. And of course, to make friends along the way!

Our current members come from all walks of life, with different personal and professional backgrounds. What unites us is a love of NFTs, and the desire to do dope shit. By bringing people together and leveraging our collective skills and expertise, we believe that we can make a real difference in the NFT community and beyond.
