Finding the Golds Buried Beneath Murky Waters — Treasureland September Update

Where exactly is the NFT market, and indeed the entire web3 industry, headed? A single sufficient answer to this question may not be answered even by the most comprehensive market research.

What is clear right now is that the NFT market decline has yet continued into October as there are fewer active traders than that in August. Still, there are some alpha opportunities hidden in September. For example, DID projects such as BAB, Space ID and Twitter Scan were getting attention.

Just like the hope-inspiring nature of our name, we remain sufficiently optimistic to know that there are yet more golds buried beneath the murky waters of the NFT space. Treasureland will accompany you on this amazing journey.

That said, here is a monthly recap of what we achieved in September:

I. Technical Updates

This month, we have refactored the back-end framework of Treasureland. Our optimization includes changing the retrieval logic of NFT attributes, enhancing NFT batch listing and image retrieval services, and increasing the system's concurrency by balancing the system load at peak times.

We expect that the user experience of Treasureland could be smoother after the refactoring, which means quicker loading of NFT images, faster response to user requests, and more system stability overall. The goal is to reach the same performance level as the first-class NFT marketplace.

Additionally, we were working intensively on developing the Treasureland launchpad. NFT Project can quickly submit the project information via this portal, which enables Treasureland to conveniently review and list high-quality projects.

II. Partnerships

Beyond the techy side, web3 is all about the “network effect”. Based on that realization, we have continued to cultivate that value at Treasureland through strategic partnerships with a variety of projects.

In September, we partnered with fast-rising projects such as the NFT avatar project, BlockVatar, the shop-to-earn NFT platform, Playbux and the web3 reading product. ReadON.

We also made handshakes with Kepler Homes, which is building a blockchain-based play-to-earn MMORPG game, and SillySheep, a cartoon-inspired match-3 game with NFTs.

Lastly, on September 30th, the highly popular Artem Network got added to our ecosystem. Atem Network is a decentralized content creation protocol for tokenizing content and building web3 communities.

Important to note that the NFT collection of all the aforementioned are currently listed on Treasureland NFT marketplace.

III. Events

1. Twitter Space

Treasureland teamed up with the BSCNews NFT platform to host a Twitter session on old and current relationships. The session was attended by up to 124 persons.

Giveaway rewards were also shared. In the coming months, we expect to host more Twitter space where we will share our perspectives on the ever-changing NFT market.

2. Monster Galaxy Blind Box Sale

Treasureland partnered with the Monster Galaxy project for the launch of its Blind Boxes which players can unlock to get a random NFT character that can be used to access its play-to-earn game.

The characters that can be unlocked are a legendary Orichi, or any of the four fantastic Moga creatures — Capriccino, Gocon, Icevia or a Lumo.

3. Top 10 NFT Marketplace

On September 23rd, the popular data analytics platform, BNB Master, ranked Treasureland 4th on the list of top 10 NFT marketplaces with the highest volume in 30 days.

4. September Giveaways

We had tons of events for sharing freebies with our community in September. The rewards given out ranged from tokens, highly-coveted WL slots, exclusive NFTs, fantasy boxes, and more.

We also airdropped special Treasureland badge NFTs to holders of BAB tokens. Each pass NFTs is worth $199 and comes with a lot of benefits.
