Our Mission:

The Green Room is an onchain collector’s community governed by music enthusiasts, with participation from various music communities and individuals coming together under one roof.

The Green Room supports artists in web3 with a focus on emerging acts.

It will be operated through party.app, the new community platform from @prtyDAO. Membership costs 0.03 ETH per membership. Leadership will be elected and projects will be funded through community proposals and votes. 

Why Now

Onchain music is driven by artist empowerment, collectors, and fans. As we expand, it's equally as important to empower the community as a whole. 

Collector communities are essential - and we see an opportunity to create one with a low barrier to entry – an opportunity for everyone to join the green room.

How it Works

To start, mint here for 0.03 ETH. 

Given that the average release costs around 0.003 ETH today, this minimum contribution has the potential to create a sizable impact, while creating a high enough barrier that bots stay out, and dedicated individuals stay in.

If you wish to contribute more, you can mint more than one pass.

Each member is limited to one vote.

After receiving access to the Party, you’ll be granted entry to The Green Room’s Discord server. 

Proposals

The proposal structure will be determined by The GR community following the close of the membership mint. 

We recommend proposals be submitted directly on the Party app using the following template:

Summary - One-liner on what the proposal is

Abstract - High level details on the intention and context of the proposal

Motivation - Why are you proposing this and what does it hope to achieve?

Specification - Very detailed explanation of how it works and what happens if the proposal passes

Vote - Provide the different options to be voted on through the poll

Proposals will be aimed towards supporting music artists with Web3 Roots by collecting their works or funding their projects, for example

• Donating to an artist who needs money for mixing, mastering, content creation, gas fees, etc in relation to a Web3 Music project 

• Purchasing a DANC3 drop on sound.xyz

1. The goal of The Green Room is to support music artists and music projects with Web3 roots. 

2. The Green Room will not take profit nor offer disbursements at any point. All funds will continuously be reinvested into the ecosystem.
