There has never been a space for us, built by us so WE will create it.
$24OURS will be a playground and creative haven for BIPOC creatives in the physical and digital world. With this crowdfund, we will bring this vision to life. Our dreams will be realized.
I am Goldie Harris and I am the founder of 24:OURS. I am a a black, queer, and independent creative. I have always dreamt of working in spaces that were run by people like me for people like me. And I say this because I’ve come up against many barriers in my career while producing events and content.I have come up against many people who just didn’t want to work with an “urban” crowd. I got sick of it. I am sick of it and so now I am rewriting the rules. Black and brown creatives deserve safe spaces to grow and thrive. Our energy can’t be defined in corporate white America. And it should not be constrained by it either. It has been my dream to create a space that accepts our energy. That radiates our energy. So I opened my own DIY creative studio where entrepreneurs and creatives alike could use the space to realize their dreams. A hub for productions, meetings, podcasting, events, co-working and whatever else they needed to make it happen. [Read more on Black Enterprise]
I speak more about this on TEDx “The Power of Community in Entrepreneurship” [Watch Here]
While our first iteration taught us a lot about bridging the gap between culture and community for BIPOC creatives – v2 of 24:OURS is expanding their physical location and expanding into the ecosystems of Web3.
Ryan Hoover, Founder of Product Hunt posed this question on Twitter:
Who’s building permanent NFT or token-gated communities in the physical space?
**We are!**
I expect to see more membership clubs adopt this strategy. Gary Vee is opening the first restaurant in NYC powered by crypto.
You are about to be a part of the first membership based social club and co-[creating] space powered by crypto.
Artists are nothing without their community.Spaces where they can gather and lean on one another for guidance and support. All of the major players and dreamers of NY have walked through the doors of the 24. After making their mark in Downtown Brooklyn -- 24:OURS is ready for expansion.
24:OURS is a membership based social club and co-[creating] space located in Brooklyn. It is designed to empower creatives by providing access to all of the tools that they need. A true home for the creator and dreamer in all of us. The space will feature:
In addition to these spaces we will:
A 24:OURS NFT Membership Card will grant you access to 24:OURS Studios and all of its perks.
24: OURS Creative Studios will be a place of innovation. Here, many creatives of color will get to plant seeds and watch them grow. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 365 days a year. For the trailblazers. The innovators. The hustlers. The dreamers. Record that song. Produce the web series. Launch the podcast. Shoot that look-book. Host the pop-up. Build your empire. For a night. Why IRL?
24:OURS was created in the physical space for artists to explore, perform, create, collaborate in real life. We live in a world where remote is the new norm. However, being able to work from anywhere means we often end up working alone. Nothing happens in a vacuum. You need space to make magic but unless you get out there and mix with other people you’ll have no way of replenishing your well of ideas.
Also saw this on Linkedin and loved it:
Jill King, the senior vice president of marketing and partnerships at Adult Swim is careful not to use the term “IRL” these days. I’ve been intentionally saying “physical world” , she says, explaining that a younger colleague recently pointed out that the once distinct lines between virtual and reality are permanently blurred. “Your real life is your digital, social and physical life,” King said.
We’re bridging the gap and creating a community that lives in both spaces.
How can you support?
24:OURS Supporter NFT: Owning this NFT is proof that you believe in and want to see the vision of 24:OURS come to life. You’re a day 1 supporter. This NFT will give you access to our discord where we will take you behind the scenes of the creation of 24:OURS Studios .. every step of the way.

How will the money be spent?
We are seeking a 240 ETH softcap raise with stretch goals leading to a 500 ETH hardcap. Below will breakdown how the funds will be allocated and how we intend to build our playground for creatives in the physical and digital space. These funds will go towards the physical space in NYC and the core team of managers, marketers, developers, artists and strategists working directly on the project. Other costs include transaction fees on the Ethereum blockchain, web hosting and software.
To recognize our biggest supporters, the top three contributors will be rewarded with the very first NFT Membership allowing access to a lifetime membership at 24:OURS in the digital and physical worlds.
The Future is Bright and the opportunities are endless – other plans include:
A little more about me:
