Another owner, Mr. Chen, also reported that the same rechargeable car he bought on July 27, 2020 had the problem of sudden self deceleration and inability to accelerate many times during driving. After that, the store informed that there was a problem with the motor and repaired it for more than two months. Learned that the car had potential safety hazards and applied for returning the car, but was told to deduct 108000 yuan. “We bought the car out of trust in the Mercedes Benz brand and never thought of returning the car. Now the car has quality problems, which is not caused by our improper use. The fault lies with the manufacturer, but the depreciation fee is deducted according to the highest standard, which is completely unreasonable,” he said

The motor of this car has frequent quality problems and major potential safety hazards, indicating that the store provides unqualified products. However, according to the provisions of the contract law, if the 4S store fails to deliver the qualified products to the owner, the contract will be invalid, so the goods can also be returned. The motor of the Mercedes Benz electric vehicle purchased by the two car owners has serious quality problems, and the manufacturer and 4S store also admit that they have this problem. According to the provisions of the consumer protection law, they can choose to return, replace and repair.
