Gm to the $BEATS fam,
In this article, we will go into the infrastructure for ‘echo, the vibing cat’, who he is, and what he means for BEATS AI.
BEATS AI is:
A consumer-social platform
A consumer-facing agent launchpad, “One-Click Creative Agents”
A developer-facing tooling provider for our AI Creation Engine, as well as open-source Agent framework
Echo is our first step into both 2 and 3, demoing our internal tech-stack in production. We believe agents will be the main way that media content (which will nearly all be AI generated) will be distributed across the Internet.
Any agent that wants to have any type of reactive/dynamic forms of media [songs, images, video, etc] in an Agent should be using our SDK, no matter what framework they are using.
BEATS AI is building AI agent-specific libraries, APIs, and SDKs to generate and distribute dynamic media, as well as launch agents.
We will also open-source our framework, which will be generally capable, and not specific to media outputs.
We will use Echo to demo more agentic capabilities, efficiency improvements, loops, and overall functioning. Our architecture supports an unlimited of monitoring sources, available tools, and plugs in seamlessly with the AI Creation Engine.
Echo is BEATS AI’s first in-production agent utilizing our in-house, proprietary framework. It is made of 4 main parts:
the character configuration
the monitoring loop paradigm
Currently we have:
X feed monitoring
X mention monitoring
…more monitoring loop sources can be built by us or future developers easily
the LLM (large-language model) and function call system, the ‘brain’
the available tools to the agent
multiple can be configured and enabled
we allow for an unlimited amount of tools to be created and available
Each agent on the BEATS AI platform and stack will have their behavior defined by a character config, which is a JSON file with things like some samples of data, name, and prompted behavior.
On platform, it will be abstracted away via UI, but when using our framework, can easily be configured in format.
The specific documentation will come in a later release.
We’ve built our own monitoring sources via the X API in order to scrape data from both mentions, feed, and certain accounts.
Monitoring sources are completely modular. On platform, we will provide connections to certain platforms with available APIs in order to ingest data and information, but developers can easily configure their own monitoring module for new, custom sources of data.
[insert what the flow looks like of inputting data to the monitoring loop, code structure, etc]
Echo as an agent is powered by OpenAI GPT for reasoning and action setting. He also uses function calling via the GPT API.
Whenever Echo decides to respond to an X post via reasoning module:
he considers the full catalog of songs on beatsfoundation.com
If this search yields no desirable results → Echo can elect to generate a new song using the music and image generation tools that we’ve made available.
This flow means that every time Echo responds to an X post, he is either:
Popularizing existing songs OR
Expanding the coverage of the overall music catalog
As such, Echo’s agentic structure is built to feed into the BEATS Flywheel.
Currently, Echo has these tools available:
Song Creation
Image Creation
Embeddings Search
X Reply
X Scrape
Tools and plugins are easy to create, as long as the input parameters fit into the response structure of our internal API.
The specific documentation will come in a later release.
In a future article, we will go more in-depth into our overall infrastructure for agent systems (and upcoming API and SDKs).
Echo is just a demo of our stack.
Through our consumer facing launchpad, you will be able to launch and monetize your own hosted agents.
Through our developer tooling, usage of the AI Creation Engine will be $BEATS gated, but modular enough to connect it to any agentic framework of one’s choosing (such as Eliza).
More forms of media will come to our infrastructure -- video, image, etc.
Thank you!
