These projects will start by partnering with an IRL (in-real-life) award-winning, craft cannabis company which includes real estate acquisition and other physical assets.

Problem

Funding for a successful craft cannabis brand with artisanal quality creates struggles to navigate the extractive nature of the traditional corporate company structure. Typically the capital solutions available often compromise the integrity and quality of the products at the expense of the small brands reputation, consumers, and the Earth.

Malpractice and gatekeeping of the cannabis industry has traditionally maximized profits at the cost of the plant or people, and in turn have provided barriers to entry to craft cannabis farmers and the BIPOC community.

HASH DAO will be raising capital by merging Web3 technologies with the cannabis space, thus creating a decentralized and democratized network for companies to operate in.

Introduction

The multi-billion dollar cannabis industry is entering it’s boom phase as support for U.S. federal legalization grows and global cannabis markets continue to come online. The cannabis space is estimated to grow to over $200 Billion by 2030 as predicted by Berkshire Hathaway. The majority of the craft cannabis industry, lacks in metrics and does not reward innovation or intellectual property; often operating at the cost of the consumer, plant and the planet.

Cancerous pesticides, mold, and in-organic genetically modified flowers have all been out-dated practices utilized in current cannabis horticulture. This is largely due to a profit-driven model of the medicinal plant which has unjustly penalized small legacy growers. Incarceration of marginalized communities for alternative medicine use at a disproportionate rate has since gate-kept entry into the space.

Farming, hash-processing, and cannabis tech are often driven to innovation by financial corporate investors, many times leaving most of the developers, designers, and legacy growers at the short end of the intellectual property stick. Elite genetics are identified by farmers through years of R/D sorting through phenotypes of each strain. Many times big brands exploit years of hard work and value that passionate master growers put in. Certain strains go on to become culturally iconic that generate massive value. Often times the creators and farmers innovate and the investors profit off their intellectual property, currently there is no on-chain authentication process.

Developing Horticulture Public Goods

HASH DAO is a social equity tool putting farmers first. We aim to promote the use of sustainable horticulture, regenerative farming, and natural medicine as a means for collective healing and wellness.

HASH DAO will address both the intellectual property and artisanal standards of craft operators, home growers, and investors interested in horticultural education as well as providing funding for research projects into genetic diversity and marijuana's medicinal applications. This would include a market-driven, tokenized oracle that would populate real-time horticulture data onto the blockchain.

Data Privacy & Security

Privacy is essential to any business when in reality it is almost nonexistent in the blockchain ecosystem. For example, Bitcoin started out with privacy as a goal but was subverted and now is very public by using chain analytics companies.

As an analogy, would you feel comfortable with your bank account being available to the public where the public cannot access your money but they can see everything you are doing?

The same lack of privacy is true of smart contract platforms like Ethereum.

Therefore, HASH DAO will use the most private smart contract platform soon-to-be available, DERO.

Bitcoin's privacy problem was solved by the cryptocurrency coin Monero. Similarly, Ethereum’s privacy problem is solved by the smart contract token DERO.

Many blockchain projects, both cryptocurrency coins and and smart contract platforms using tokens, claim privacy but in fact are not. They offer a privacy option at best. This in fact defeats true privacy which only exists when the project offers privacy by default at the protocol level.

Upgrade the farm and nursery to ensure full-scale ESG-metric compliance and how to bring all aspects of the farm and it’s production on-chain, from SKU NFT’s to utilizing energy consumption data for carbon credit checks.

Project 2

A founding principle of Web3 is to invest in the culture and the culture will invest in you. Onboarding visual and 3D artists who will design branding and digital assets for the Metaverse and develop cross-chain NFT’s to be dropped on various play-to-earn games. We will also be acquiring digital plots of real estate to build “Metaverse farms” and “digital dispensaries” where a user can view the product, find out all of it’s metric information, and have it eventually delivered through an on-chain transaction. Along with digital land we will also be investing in domain names, including various strain names, cannabis celebrities, and psychedelic culture.

Project 3

Scale Uncle Mac's Hash House, an Emerald Triangle legacy project. This on-chain solventless manufacturing lab is home for Uncle Mac’s production. We will also operate as a wholesale fresh frozen supply chain solution for transportation, storage, distribution and hash toll processing throughout the greater Emerald Triangle area.

Project 4

Launch Nephew’s Automated, our retail operation, which will include obtaining delivery and event licenses. Create a direct-to-consumer craft cannabis buyers club providing a farm-to-table experience of exclusive SKU’s from legacy brands in the Emerald Triangle.

Project 5

Develop a program for qualified inner city youth to immerse into sustainable living practice and regenerative farming establishing a Marijuana for Minorities program which would include a glamping experience.

Aggregate a library of horticulture public goods by building HASH University, a learn-to-earn initiative, creating content with some of the best small-batch growers operating in the industry.

Project 6

To achieve maximum vertical-integration we will be applying for our brick-and-mortar dispensary license, called Akasha. Hosting leading brands and events with local celebrities, our dispensary will be centered around an immersive psychedelic art and augmented reality lounge for community healing. Akasha will also handle the distribution and delivery of Nephew’s Automated in the back, including a warehouse that will have an on-chain ESG-metric system.

We will also be looking into developing a portfolio of boutique cannabis bud and breakfasts in emerging global cannabis markets.

Project 7

Finding enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to develop state-of-the-art horticulture data automation and Web3 technologies, like foamSpace, to pave the way for the international industry standard by working towards meeting ESG-metric compliance.

Our final goal is developing complete data automation systems without compromising craft horticulture which would include driverless deliveries, farm drone surveillance & data collection to utilize machine-learning and AI and to understand buyer behavior, horticulture improvements, growth optimization, etc.
