Jessica James is a digital fashion designer with an IRL fashion background. You have probably seen some of her many digital model creations and looks, especially the unique Alien models collection that she minted a few months back! She is constantly working to continue to hone her craft, refine her fabrication skills and increasingly innovate across all sectors of web3 x fashion. An amazing member as part of the designer network and a mustttt followww as this space continues to heat up!

I stumbled into digital fashion to be honest and I’m really glad I did, I was an IRL fashion designer *well I still am 🙂 with my own namesake brand and Covid hit just when I planned to launch…. so really bad timing.
My very first conscious digital fashion experience was the Hanifa digital fashion show, I guess that was the push I needed to learn the softwares that required me to create.
Fashion has always been a part of me for as long as I can remember— you’d always catch me with a pen and paper, doodling and sketching away. For the most part it was my escape because I’m an introvert and I’m very socially awkward, so it provided for me a way to tell me story without actually speaking.
It’s been about 36 months of digital fashion for me and I’m still excited at the possibilities it holds, I’ve still got a lot to learn but I’m super glad I stumbled into the space.
Jessica James Studio’s (The studio I founded) mission has always been to transcend fashion and technology to build confidence and provide a vehicle for expression through the product we create.
This studio is where fashion meets technology and physical meets a more phygital sustainable approach to create an innovative and inclusive experience. I believe every piece I create holds the DNA of my brand, and each piece is designed specifically for where I am, who I am and what I’m inspire by at that moment in time.
My creative journey is a very personal journey for me as I feel attached to every piece I make, I mean don’t all artist feel attached to their work 🙂
As I continue this journey in a more decentralized web3 space, I’m very much looking forward to the inclusivity the space offers and a more sustainable way of doing what I love!
