The glorieta a Luísa Todi, which is located on the avenue with the same name, in front of the Civil Government building, was inaugurated on the occasion of the centenary of the singer's death in the former Parque das Escolas, today Largo José Afonso.

The monument, later moved to Avenida Luísa Todi, where it is located, was designed by Abel Pascoal, sculpted by Leopoldo de Almeida and built by Abílio Salreu.

Luísa Todi
was born in Setúbal, in the parish of Nossa Senhora da Anunciada, on January 9, 1753 and died in Lisbon, in Travessa da Estrela, on October 1, 1833.

Description:
Irregular, semi-elliptical plan, formed by a platform where articulated volumes rest; in the center stands out the plinth with an irregular, angular base, incorporated into an oblong wall volume, with an irregular base; it is flanked by lateral wall panels formed by two arched wings, laterally topped by two columns with a hexagonal base. The frontispiece faces the south, composed in a staggered fashion by a high plinth with a bust flanked by prismatic pilasters, with a vertical chasm with a frieze of stylized leaves, and columns with adjoining small columns, crowned by campanulate vegetal ornamentation, with epigraphs; on each side stand out two plates formed by friezes of stylized vegetal elements placed repetitively in bands; to the sides, two wall panels, in concavity, along which two benches develop, above which stand out two pentagrams with inscribed musical notes. The monument has two columns of the type already described as a lateral finish. The female sculptural bust is worked in a round shape, rests on a low plinth, it highlights the accentuated treatment of the hair, with a laurel wreath. The rear façade develops in accordance with the frontispiece, in 3 panels laterally delimited by columns, the sides being arched in convexity; the central panel is divided into two registers, the upper one being recessed.

The two pentagrams are inscribed in symmetry with treble clefs (one inverted at each end for aesthetic reasons), various musical notes, bass clef, forming two musical bars where the singer's name can be read.
