Today, with the V2 Testnet - Phase II release, we've come one step closer to the V2 Mainnet launch scheduled for the 7th of July. Along with that, we introduced some new significant features for Creators. One of them is Edition - a special type of Drop with unlimited supply, limited time, and a single piece of art. As described in our previous article, Editions are perfect to celebrate special moments, or sharing a collection with utility. We'd like to combine both use cases. On the 7th of July, the first day of the V2 Mainnet, we'll launch our limited Whitelist Pass Edition (OWLPASS) with a special utility.

Automating Whitelist Spots Sharing with the Omnisea Community (OWLPASS Holders)

With the vast interest from various projects to share their Whitelist spots with our Community, Omnisea has decided to streamline this process for both parties - Creators and Collectors. Our aim is to create a symbiotic relationship where we empower these projects through marketing benefits while simultaneously offering exclusive opportunities to our Community. The system we will introduce is permissionless, completely automated, and transparent.

We are developing a dedicated smart contract that will automate the distribution of Whitelist spots to our Community members. Anyone who will create a Drop via Omnisea and would like to share some WL slots will have access to this feature from the Drop Scheduler panel. While adding a new mint Phase, a Creator will be able to click on the "Share with Omnisea Community" button and provide the number of spots. The randomness algorithm will choose the recipients of these spots from the Holders of the OWLPASS. Each token means a chance to be drafted for the Whitelist of any Drop that is launching via Omnisea and using this feature (1 OWLPASS = 1 Ticket in all raffles). And for Creators it means the guaranteed opportunity to get additional Collectors and onboard them easily. If you're a "smaller" Creator, you can even share WL slots for all of your supply.

Omnisea Whitelist Pass - Mint Details

Editions represent a new feature in the Omnisea platform, one that enables creators to sell a single artwork with unlimited supply over a limited timeframe.

OWLPASS will be mintable on zkSync for everyone for $2 equivalent in ETH on the 7th of July. The Pass will be available for a 48-hour period, emphasizing the opportunity.

Future of the Omnisea Pass

While this is the first edition of the Omnisea Pass, it certainly won't be the last. Future editions of the Pass will be made available, albeit at a higher price point and not necessarily with the same utility. The timeline for these subsequent editions is currently uncertain, adding to the allure and exclusivity of the initial Omnisea Pass - Limited Edition.

Supporting OMS Liquidity Pool

With this initiative, our aim is to strengthen our ecosystem. 80% of the funds collected from the sale of the Omnisea Pass will be allocated to support OMS Liquidity Pool. The remaining funds will be directed towards operational costs and infrastructure.
