So we reasoned, "Why to limit this to a game where NFTs are tetrominoes?" Isn't it preferable to give the community ownership over this project and its ideas by creating a collection that reflects the community?
Welcome to the Turtle Land!
With Turtle Land we’re developing a platform for innovators and early adopters. It's a collection that aims to make Web3 on-chain games more accessible to all of its holders by establishing a community that links ideas in the gaming area.
Turtle holders will be the rock stars of the project. Benefits will be instantly apparent, and we may summarize them as follows:
- We will provide free games and perks for each on-chain game that we will launch
- Possibilities to win larger rewards can only be earned if you have a Turtle
- DAO involvement includes the ability to express ideas, request particular game development, and manage DAO Treasury
About the collection
Josh, the Turtle character, populates a collection of 5,555 Turtles, chosen from a pool of around 130,000,000 potential element combinations. A 2D collection that has been hand-drawn and carefully constructed to allow you to be a part of the Turtle Land revolution.
Each turtle enables its owner to participate in the DAO by voting for new games, experiences, and events funded by the Turtle Community Treasury. New Games is how the DAO will be sustained in the future: each game will include a service tax, which will be delivered to the DAO wallet and collected over time.
DAO and a promising future
A critical part of any crypto project is how it will be supported in the future. Or how it may benefit those who own it.
Aside from the playing perks, such as free and cheap games, each holder is a member of the Turtle Land DAO. This DAO is supported by a modest levy included in each generated game, which contributes to fund the DAO Treaasury.
The cash can be utilized and handled further by the DAO through suggestions and votes for hosting events, developing different games, or any other requested activity.
