2024 was a major year for DePIN, with the overall market cap steadily increasing and venture fund interest on the rise. But it was a big one for AYDO as well!

Along with ongoing developments bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 – empowering users to control, own, and profit from the data generated by their smart home IoT devices and interactions – we achieved some incredible milestones.

Here's a short recap of some of the highlights:

• Attended major conferences like Token2049, WOW Summit 2024 in Hong Kong, DePIN Summit 2024, and more,

• Partnered with four DePIN and AI projects,

• Chosen as one of only six projects to join the DePIN Base Camp accelerator by Outlier Ventures, peaq, and Borderless Capital,

• Beta test launch.

Kicking Off Beta Testing

We got over 7,000 applications for our beta testing phase, and this type of response has been absolutely incredible!

Out of those 7,000, 300 lucky ones gained access to the beta test once it was officially launched, alongside our loyal Ambassadors, AYDO OGs, and AYDOlist members – all of whom were guaranteed a spot.

It’s been amazing to see such excitement and interest in the beta test, and we're thrilled to have so many active participants helping us shape the future of AYDO. Although beta testing for AYDO is actively underway, there’s still time to participate if you’d like.

Community Building

This year, we also focused on building and strengthening our community. We kicked things off with the launch of our Discord server, creating a dedicated space where everyone can come together to chat, share ideas, and stay updated.

Along with that, we introduced the Ambassador Program, which has been a hit. There are two roles: Special Ambassador, for those taking on more responsibility and working closely with the team, and AYDO Helper, for newer members with potential who can level up with time, all along with special rewards for participants.

We also made sure our beta testers got rewarded with the AYDOBughunter role for sharing their valuable feedback as we continue refining the app so that the final version is the best it can be, with everything designed around user experience and needs.

In addition, we kept the conversation going with our community through tons of AMA sessions, answering questions and sharing more about what we’re up to. Plus, we got invited to join AMAs with others, like Peaq, and joined cool podcasts like the DePIN Daily Podcast.

To make things easier for everyone, we also published a series of onboarding articles on Mirror. These articles cover everything from the basics of DePIN to AYDO developments, community updates, reward opportunities, and more. Plus, each piece is mintable, ensuring it doesn’t go unnoticed.

And to top it all off, we launched a campaign on Galxe, which has been a fun and rewarding way for users to engage even more with AYDO on social media and Discord. It's been amazing seeing everyone participate, and we can’t wait to keep growing together!

Amazing Collabs with Amazing Teams

We kicked off the year in the best way possible. AYDO became the debut project in the new Odyss3y 2024 cohort. The Odyss3y provides key support for blockchain projects, offering resources, mentorship, and expert insights. For AYDO, it helped us connect with the right people, gain valuable knowledge, and level up in the ecosystem.

The partnership with 375ai expanded AYDO’s reach by integrating with their edge network of thousands of IoT devices. 375ai, DePIN on Solana, uses AI to gather real-time data on traffic, environment, and urban conditions. This collaboration also boosted AYDO’s data coverage and opened new revenue streams by providing valuable insights to industry buyers.

Another partnership we’re really proud of is with Axone, a decentralized blockchain protocol that enables users to share and monetize data, algorithms, and compute power. AYDO played an important part here by acting as a data stream market, simplifying data acquisition for streamers and connecting them to Axone’s AI models.

A fresh partnership with Wayru Network has unlocked a new layer of exciting possibilities. Wayru makes internet access more affordable by letting people run Wi-Fi hotspots and earn $WAYRU tokens. AYDO enhances this by reducing hardware costs and offering more ways for users to earn through DePIN, with plans to integrate WayruOS for even more opportunities.
