Big names in the music industry are no longer strange to virtual events. DJ David Guetta performed in his virtual DJ party this Feb. DJ Porter Robinson hosted Secret Sky 2021 virtual festival. Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, ABBA, among many others, have also jumped on the virtual trend.
Music performances are expanding to the virtual world — or we can say the metaverse. Such virtual concerts do away with the geographic barriers, and bring music to a wider scale of audience with more immersive experiences.
Virtual concerts and other virtual musical events are often assumed to be so complicated that only big names can think of. The setup infrastructure, including elements like stage, hall, decoration, etc. requires lots of time and money to be “built” in the virtual world. Common platforms will also ask you to buy land before doing anything there with your event, the price of which may range from a few thousands to a few hundred thousands dollars. Extra sums of money will also be required to fund the design of the land to turn it into a complete venue. In addition, your fans may need to prepare some special equipment to enjoy the events, which may pose an entry barrier for those who aren’t especially tech-savvy.
But with Rove, things are different! We create building blocks for any musician, DJ, producer, and other music maker to actualize their virtual concert ideas. You won’t need to spend too much money and don’t have to wait for too long. All are ready-made and await your customization. Also, to join your virtual show, your fans only need a laptop or a phone with the Rove app, and they can access it from anywhere.
If you ever think of your own metaverse show, or just a fan gathering, a party, etc., let’s check out this guideline to execute your plan and bring your fan plenty of fun in the metaverse.
Music has no borders. Moving your performances to the virtual world, you will overcome the barrier of physical distance and reach new fans. Especially, if you’re international-oriented, virtual shows will be the best suited for you to spread your music beyond the local.
Web3 will be the future of the Internet. The music industry has also seen more and more waves of artists taking to the metaverse, which is promising to bring more value to the musicians and the music itself.
At the very dawn of such an era, don’t hesitate to be the pioneer. Let your virtual shows impress the audience and mark a milestone in your career.
The physical world has limitations but the virtual doesn’t. You can never imagine how fantastic your shows could be in the metaverse, with cool “effects”, 3D avatars, dance moves, music streaming, and so on.
Let’s wow your fans with surprises!
