1/ Update the check your home button

A tricky button to lead you to your home on Rove. We hope you can spend more time in the metaverse to treat it with care, cultivate your network, and enjoy your endless space on Rove.

This will also help you keep track of what’s new in your home while you’re roving around.

2/ Remove chess from all homes and environments

😔 We decided to remove the chess table for these reasons:

• Hard to play: unlike other chess games with specific rules, in Rove, we deliver a “chess kit” with the expectation that users can freely play it in their way. Fact, this confuses not only the pro but also the newbie.
• Lack of visualization: display the chess on the rooftop should enable more spaces for users to gather around and play comfortably. However, with a lack of in-app notification, not many users know about its existence in their homes.

After 6-month preparing, with great efforts from different teams, Rove is launched on Product Hunt, ready to meet hunters around the globe. We carefully pick the direction we’d like to focus on among multi-categories of “into the metaverse”. We received 146 votes so far and still counting!

3/ Rove Art Gallery has winners finally!

After 3 weeks, Rove Art Gallery received generous support both from artist and their followers. With “Enter The Frame” as our first 3D gallery, we expect to keep doing this in the future to debut more 3D architecture.

1/ 3rd person view_ Release today! 🔥

To enhance your immersive experiences in the metaverse with the whole-body avatar, we are working on switching 1st & 3rd-person views. This allows users to pick the view flexibly they are most comfortable with and observe the surrounding environment.

2/ 🎯 Dart game (multi-player mode)_Released date TBC

Let’s be honest! There’s a list of games that our team and Rovers want to play in their home on Rove. Yeh we know we’ve been greedy lol. But the debate finally came to an end with the dart game!

An easy-to-play game that nearly everyone plays it once — maybe not at home but some lounge or bar. With this being deployed, you don’t have to go further for an intensive match with your friends. We’re considering allowing users to put someone’s picture on the dartboard to increase excitement while playing. 🤣

This sneak view is the very first model of a dart table. We actually had it in our office and spent a good amount of time just… play it lol While people are exploring:

• How to merge metaverse x real world
• How to escape from the real world with the metaverse
