Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 the articles of association are formulated in accordance with the education law of the people’s Republic of China, the higher education law of the people’s Republic of China and the relevant provisions of the Ministry of education on the enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities, in combination with the actual situation of the University, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the enrollment of ordinary undergraduates, standardize the enrollment behavior and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of candidates.

Article 2 the full name of the university is Yunnan University. It is one of the first batch of “211 Project” key construction universities, the first batch of “first-class university” construction universities, the second round of “double first-class” construction universities, and the Ministry of education’s “ministry oriented, ministry provincial joint construction” universities.

Article 3 the school is a state-run full-time ordinary university, with the Ministry code of 10673, and the school level is undergraduate and graduate.

Article 4 the school has two campuses. Donglu campus is located at No. 2, Cuihu North Road, Wuhua District, Kunming; Chenggong campus is located in the South Road of the east outer ring of Chenggong University City, Kunming.

Article 5 The University shall implement the principles of fair competition, fair selection, openness and transparency in its enrollment, conduct comprehensive assessment, comprehensive evaluation and select the best to admit new students.

Chapter II Organization and responsibilities

Article 6 Yunnan University shall establish an enrollment leading group composed of university leaders and heads of relevant functional departments, which is responsible for implementing the relevant enrollment policies of the Ministry of education, leading the specific implementation of enrollment, and deliberating and making decisions on major issues in undergraduate enrollment.

Article 7 the Enrollment Office of Yunnan University is a permanent institution of the university to organize and implement undergraduate enrollment, which is responsible for the daily work of undergraduate enrollment.

Article 8 the school shall set up an enrollment supervision team to be responsible for the discipline supervision and supervision in the process of enrollment.

Chapter III enrollment plan

Article 9 according to the needs of national economic and social development, combined with the actual situation of talent training and school running conditions, Yunnan University comprehensively determines the enrollment plan of each province and specialty by taking into account the source of students of each province (region and city), the employment situation of graduates, regional coordinated development, national key support policies, planning arrangements over the years and other factors. The provincial and professional enrollment plan shall be subject to the announcement of the provincial enrollment and examination management department.

Article 10 in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of education, the school determines the number of reserved plans to be 10, which is mainly used to solve the admission of candidates with the same score at the end and the regulation of student source quality. The use of the reserved plan shall be collectively decided by the school enrollment leading group.

Chapter IV admission rules

Article 11 Yunnan University shall determine the proportion of file adjustment according to the enrollment plan and the source of students in all provinces (regions and cities). If the number of batches is less than 105%, it shall be controlled according to the principle of parallel filing; According to the batch of voluntary filing, the proportion of file adjustment shall be controlled within 120% in principle. The Filing Rules of each batch shall be subject to the provisions of the provincial enrollment and examination management department of each province (District, city).

Article 12 according to the batch of parallel voluntary filing, candidates who have been registered will not return their files if they pass the ideological, political and moral examination, the physical examination results meet the professional admission conditions and obey the professional adjustment.

Article 13 those who have not completed the recruitment of volunteers in parallel will be sent to other provinces according to the plan. According to the batch of voluntary filing in order, if the enrollment plan is not completed after the first voluntary admission, non first voluntary candidates will be recruited.

Article 14 among the same batch of volunteers, they shall be admitted according to the principle of “giving priority to the results of college entrance examination”. That is, the candidates who have been put on the file will be admitted according to the professional volunteers filled in by the candidates after ranking from high to low according to the results of the college entrance examination, and the professional volunteers of high score candidates will be given priority. If the results are the same, compare them item by item according to the results of Chinese, mathematics and foreign language. The one with high score in a single subject is preferred. Those with the same scores in the college entrance examination and the above three single subjects shall be admitted according to the principle of “professional volunteer first”.

Article 15 candidates who are unable to meet all professional volunteers, if subject to professional adjustment, will be transferred to the majors in the same batch and subject category that have not completed the enrollment plan; Candidates who are unable to meet all professional volunteers and do not obey professional adjustment will be returned to the file.

Article 16 in addition to the enrollment of high-level sports teams, the school shall recognize the policy bonus approved by the Ministry of education and the competent education departments of all provinces (autonomous regions and cities) at the time of file adjustment and professional admission, and the total score shall not exceed 20 points. All college entrance examination bonus items and scores do not apply to the enrollment of high-level sports teams.

Article 17 candidates from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan, Jiangsu, Hubei, Fujian, Liaoning, Guangdong, Chongqing, Hebei, Hunan and other provinces (regions and cities) in the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination must meet the requirements of the selected subjects of various majors recruited by our university in the local area. The requirements for the selected subjects of relevant majors shall be subject to the announcement of the provincial enrollment and examination management department.

Article 18 the physical examination standards shall be implemented in accordance with the guidance on physical examination for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities issued by the Ministry of education, the former Ministry of health and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, and the notice on further standardizing the enrollment and employment physical examination items and safeguarding the enrollment and employment rights of hepatitis B surface antigen carriers issued by the Ministry of human resources and social security, the Ministry of education and the former Ministry of health.

Article 19 there is no limit on the proportion of men and women in all enrollment majors.

Article 20 there is no limit on foreign languages in the unified examination of all enrollment majors. Freshmen of non foreign language majors will implement public foreign language teaching in English after admission.

Article 21 our university implements the training of “economic management”, “Life Chemistry” and “electronic information and computer”. The enrollment categories are divided into “economics”, “business administration”, “bioscience”, “environmental science and Engineering”, “Chemistry”, “electronic information” and “computer”. After admission, the students of relevant categories are randomly assigned to the corresponding College for one-year training. After the end of the general training stage, it will be diverted to specific colleges and majors according to the regulations of the University, and professional training will be carried out from the third semester.

The majors available in each training category shall be subject to the announcement of the school at the time of diversion.

Article 22 there are two art admission colleges in our university, namely, the College of art and design and Changxin International Art College. The specific enrollment majors and enrollment plans of the two colleges in each province (district and city) shall be subject to the announcement of the local provincial enrollment and examination management department and the enrollment network of Yunnan University. Candidates admitted by the two colleges are not allowed to change majors across colleges after admission.
