Elon Musk said on Tuesday that if he successfully acquired twitter, he would lift Twitter’s ban on former US President trump.

Musk said twitter should not have a permanent title. “Permanent titles should be very rare and really reserved for robot accounts, fraud accounts, spam accounts… I really don’t think it’s right to ban trump,” Musk said.

“I will lift the permanent ban,” Musk added. “I haven’t fully owned twitter yet. So it’s not certain to happen.”.

Musk also said that the best case is to complete the twitter acquisition within 2 to 3 months.
