Bewildering Discoveries

To the astonishment of psychologists and psychiatrists assembled at her bedside and to the dismay and shock of her immediate Family members and extended relatives, Loab Galena, as they knew her to be, at the age of twenty-eight appeared physically to have returned to what some Family remember her as an eighteen year old.

Her facial features had softened from a hard sun-beaten villager to an almost angelic lustre, her hair had grown to waist length from a short cropped bobThe Galena Family were summonsed by the towns policing authority, medical researchers invited from far away cities and in a short space of time, Government and secret policing agents were brought in to the town, locking down access to the hospital at which she was taken to for more intensive examination.

Meanwhile searches of the forest and location as to where she disappeared and to where she was found were thoroughly interrogated, with surprising and to this day, entirely what was considered as, bewildering discoveries.

On day seven of the search, the police force were informed that a previously unidentified and unregistered species of tree had been discovered in the forest.

What made this discovery even more intriguing was that the tree was found growing in the exact area and location as where Loab Galena was found, and where she had disappeared from.

These small saplings were growing in what appeared to be two concentric circles, one inside the other.

The ground on which they were growing had been scorched as if something, according to scientists who sampled the trees and the ground, of immense heat of at least 450 degrees centigrade had scorched the earth.

The Galena Family swamped with this information, on seeing their unmarried and barren daughter Loab in such a state, fled the hospital grounds and returned to their village in extreme distress. Local press agencies alerted to their state followed them back to the village which caused even further calamity.

Within days of hearing of all this commotion, the whole Galena clan soon experienced alienation from even their immediate neighbours whom they had been living with and beside for forty years.

The House of Liechtenstein, is the site of the principal dwelling and home of the Galena Family, long before 'principality' took its name, castigating them all and seeking to remove their hereditary right over what is now the principality of Liechtenstein. Members of the family were denied dynastic rights despite their tie to their Country. The dynasty re-defined law by force, murdering anyone who challenged the reigning prince, the family's dynasts, enshrining order through corrupt governance and the reviled Parliament of Liechtenstein.

They had no choice but to leave their home behind, seeking sanctuary in the very same forest and caves away from the villagers, who held deep superstitious beliefs that Loab had brought upon herself some form of extraterrestrial force which they soon associated with the end of the earth itself.
