Forest Animal Meetup

Although we are traveling to the forest, animals that reside in there often prefer peace and solitude. In the shelter of ACE Animals’ forest habitat, rare forest animals from around the world continue to thrive. They have different levels of conservation status in the real world, ranging from Least Concern (LC), Conservation Dependent (CC), Near Threatened (NT), Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN), Critically Endangered (CR), Extinct in the Wild (EW) and even Extinct (EX). The conservation status of an animal will not have any influence on its in-game performance.

In ACE Animals, each animal also has corresponding qualities that affect their numerical attributes in the game. The qualities range from low to high and are: N, R, SR, SSR, SP. Animals with higher qualities will bring more benefits and rewards to their friends!

Chris

Conservation Status: Endangered (EN)

“Another day for sun-bathing today!”

Chris the Red Panda is considered the smartest red panda in the community, and he’s also the cleverest creature in the forest. Interestingly, his favorite thing to do is simply sunbathe. “Another day for sunbathing today,” he always says. During the summer, Chris often finds himself having to reduce his sunbathing time due to the scorching afternoon heat. “This is why I love winter,” he says with a grin.

The elders in the red panda community often advise him to put his intelligence to work in building their habitat, but Chris insists that sunbathing brings him more inspiration. Chris loves to play with Sunray and Jinti, especially on winter days after a snowfall, frolicking by the sunlit stream in the afternoon. “Whenever they’re around, there’s always more sunshine,” he says.

“You must also love the color red!”

Most forest residents tend to think that More the Asian Crested Ibis has a fiery temper, given her always flushed face. But in reality, More is incredibly warm and easy to get along with. She’s like a ball of fire, always igniting the atmosphere. Of course, her voice can be quite loud, which sometimes makes her quieter friends a bit annoyed.

More has a deep love for the color red, perhaps because her fellow ibises are always adorned with red feathers. “You must also love the color red!” she always says. More’s favorite friend is Chris (which isn’t hard to guess), but unfortunately, Chris’s ability to withstand the cold surpasses More by quite a bit, and he doesn’t enjoy being in overly hot places.

Nora

Conservation Status: Endangered (EN)

Animal Quality: SSR

“Are you hurt?”

Nora the Fiji Banded Iguana is the forest’s renowned surgeon and nurse, and you’ll always find her busy, asking, “Are you hurt?” It’s a common sight in the forest. What saddens her, though, is that her Fiji banded iguana community is now exceedingly rare. “Physician, heal thyself, but I’ll do my best to help everyone,” she says.

Nora is one of More’s best friends, and it all started with an accidental injury. More once inadvertently injured Jinti with her long beak while foraging (one of the reasons she was initially thought to be hard to get along with). Fortunately, Nora was nearby, preventing Jinti from suffering any lasting damage. More felt deeply responsible for this incident, and ever since then, she voluntarily became Nora’s assistant, providing all the help she could. “Thanks to Nora,” More says, “she turned all black from fright back then.”

Jingle

Conservation Status: Least Concerned (LC)

Animal Quality: R

“Ding-dong, ding-dong, jingle bells!”

Jingle the Red-fronted Parakeet always makes tinkling sounds, and her animal friends are curious about why she can produce such unique noises. “Ding-dong, ding-dong, jingle bells!”

“In fact, Jingle is a very shy and quiet friend, quite unlike the other parrots,” says Nocturno. He has a great relationship with Jingle. “I don’t know why, but her jingling calls somehow make the surrounding forest feel even quieter.” Jingle is a fan of Yara’s songs, so she always enjoys spending time with both of them. “Yara is very easygoing in private, just like she is on stage!” Jingle says excitedly. “I want to learn singing from her to make my jingles even more beautiful!”

You play with animals, and you also play for animals. Befriend with the rare animals from now, and play with them in ACE Animals! A portion of the revenue generated from the Genesis Box event will be distributed transparently to ACE Animals’ Charity Fund, which funds animal conservation initiatives.
