Genesis Box Introduction
There are two types of Genesis Boxes: Free Genesis Box and Genesis Box paid with $ETH.
In both of them, you can obtain Animal NFT Shards, which can be used to merge into a NFT and can be withdraw on-chain after the withdrawal is available.
Compared to free Genesis Boxes, paying $ETH to open the Box grants you a higher probability of obtaining high-quality animal fragments and even a chance of directly obtaining one animal card, which can randomly grant you one animal out of 10 living in a specific habitat — currently you could get a Forest animal.
Genesis Box Daily Supply
Free Genesis Box: It costs 1 Grape each time you open it. You can obtain Animal NFT Shards and Recyclable Materials from it.
There is a daily limit of 199 free Genesis Boxes, distributed across 4 specific time periods:

UTC 9–10 am: 50 Supply

Animal NFT Introduction
Animal NFTs are Non-fungible Token Bound Accounts based on ERC-6551. They are not just characters within the game; holding them is the only way to unlock all 100+ games in the ACE Animals ecosystem. Additionally, more gaming purposes will be revealed in the future. In the Genesis Boxes, there are a total of 40 different animal species, amounting to 3960 NFTs. Animal NFTs possess the following features:

Quality: Animals come in 5 quality levels, ranging from lowest to highest: N/R/SR/SSR/SP, represented by white, green, blue, purple, and yellow colors, respectively. The Quality is inherited and cannot be changed.

Avatar: An animal’s avatar is composed of various traits, with multiple styles and colors for each trait, randomly combined to create the animal’s unique look.

Training: Animals can be trained in the game, enhancing their numerical attributes and altering their appearance.
Animal NFTs can be traded in the ACE Animals marketplace and can also be withdrawn on-chain.
Genesis Box Items
Opening the Genesis Box reveals one of the following four types of items: Animal NFT Shards, Universal NFT Shards, Animal Cards, and Recyclable Materials.
Universal NFT Shard is only available in the Genesis Box paid with $ETH. By opening it, you have a chance to get an additional Animal NFT Card drop. There is only Animal Card drop in every 99 Genesis Boxes paid with $ETH.
Besides, In the Genesis Box paid with $ETH, you have a far higher chance of getting rare items than in the Free Genesis Box.
Here’s a brief description of each item:
Animal NFT Shards
Gather 10 shards of the same species to merge them into an Animal NFT. Shards could also be sold for $ETH. ACE Animals recommends you to hold the shards if you are not sure about what to do with them, since an Animal NFT is far more valuable than 10 shards.
The quality of shards is the same as its corresponding Animal.
Universal NFT Shards
Universal NFT Shards could not be used alone, but it could serve as any animals’s NFT Shards of the same quality while merging. E.g. You could merge 1 Aye-aye nft shards with 9 universal NFT Shards of N quality into one Aye-aye NFT.
Universal NFT shards drop exclusively from Genesis Boxes paid with $ETH. It holds very high value, think before you make decisions regarding them.
Animal Card
An extremely valuable items. It drops exclusively from Genesis Boxes paid with $ETH. Out of the 99 Genesis Boxes released each time, only one fortunate individual will have the opportunity to obtain the Animal card.
Use the card to randomly get an Animal NFT living in the corresponding habitats, there are currently 4 kinds of Animal Cards.
Recyclable Materiels
You could sell Recyclable Materiels like plastic bags or wasted newspaper for $ETH. The higher their quality is, the more expensive they are.
