Forest Animal Meetup

Although we are traveling to the forest, animals that reside in there often prefer peace and solitude. In the shelter of ACE Animals’ forest habitat, rare forest animals from around the world continue to thrive. They have different levels of conservation status in the real world, ranging from Least Concern (LC), Conservation Dependent (CC), Near Threatened (NT), Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN), Critically Endangered (CR), Extinct in the Wild (EW) and even Extinct (EX). The conservation status of an animal will not have any influence on its in-game performance.

In ACE Animals, each animal also has corresponding qualities that affect their numerical attributes in the game. The qualities range from low to high and are: N, R, SR, SSR, SP. Animals with higher qualities will bring more benefits and rewards to their friends!

To help everyone better acquaint themselves with their future animal companions, we have invited three animals who have eagerly volunteered to make new friends to meet with everyone!

Sunray

Conservation Status: Endangered (EN)

Animal Quality: SSR

Let the sunlight warm every corner.

Sunray, a Spiny turtle, had a challenging upbringing. In her early days, her species faced severe population decline, leaving her with few companions. To evade predators in the forest, she became cruel and grew a circle of thorns around her shell, which gave her an appearance reminiscent of the sun in cartoons and earned the vicious and lonely Spiny turtle an ironic nickname “Sunray.”

The encounter with Jinti changed everything. They met one winter day when Sunray was shivering in the darkest corner, and Jinti’s inherent energy and optimism warmed her like a ray of sunshine. To play more closely with Jinti, Sunray gradually shed the thorns around her shell, eventually developing a smoother, more rounded shell in adulthood.

Because of her childhood experience, Sunray values every friendship. “Let the sunlight warm every corner.”, she always says. Aye-aye is another friend she cares about the most. He seems carefree on the outside, but he was heavy-hearted on the inside. This makes Sunray feel that she has a great responsibility.

Jinti

Conservation Status: Critically Endangered (CR)

Animal Quality: N

The most beautiful places are always adorned with golden hues!

As a Panamanian Golden Frog, Jinti was a born optimist and adventurer. Unlike other frogs, she prefers to communicate with her friends through gestures rather than vocalizations, a habit that endears her to her lemur friend Aye-Aye, who doesn’t appreciate too much noise and is even a little bit afraid of noise.

Exploration is her greatest passion, and she often says, “The most beautiful places are always adorned with golden hues.” During one of her adventures, she crossed paths with Sunray and gradually became close friends. She thoroughly enjoyed sunbathing on Sunray’s shell, even though the spines on Sunray’s shell initially made it hard for her to fall asleep.

Aye-aye

Conservation Status: Endangered (EN)

Animal Quality: N

They all say that my misfortune causes the destruction of the homeland.

Like Sunray, Aye-aye also had a past that he could not look back on. Its hand shape is very special, with the thumb and other fingers being equally long and thin, and the middle finger is three times the length of the other fingers. Its appearance, which is different from that of ordinary monkeys, has caused some animals in the forest to think that it brings misfortune: “His misfortune causes the destruction of the homeland,” they always say.

It was not until he met Sunray that Aye-aye realized that he was not the only one who was special. Sunray belives that it’s Aye-aye’s unique appearance that makes him engaging. With the encouragement of Sunray and her friend Jinti, although Aye-aye still does not want to be active and hang around during the day, he has been able to let go of his own special appearance.
