“Dong Dong Dong…” a burst of rapid knocking on the glass broke the silence of the night. At about 10 p.m. on April 16, Guo Yufeng, a taxi driver waiting at the door of Zhongdian Sunshine Community, Weizi Road, Wangcheng Avenue, Luoyang, looked up with a sound. A little girl outside the car was knocking on his car glass and crying, “master, can you drive the car into our community? My father fainted, can you take my father to the hospital?” Seeing this, Guo Yufeng quickly picked up the little girl and drove downstairs to her house.

“When I saw his father drunk, I was worried about his face.” Guo Yufeng recalled that when he got downstairs, he saw the little girl’s father unconscious and was carried into the car. Later, Guo Yufeng learned that the man who fainted was not what he thought he was “drunk”, but cerebral hemorrhage caused by a car accident. Referring to this matter, Guo Yufeng also said that he was a little afraid. “Seeing the little girl’s father in critical condition, I was very worried. I was afraid of something on the road that would lead to untimely medical treatment.” Guo Yufeng said.

In the car, the little girl kept shouting “Dad, Dad”, trying to arouse her father’s consciousness. Considering the emergency situation of the patient, Guo Yufeng ran several red lights. When passing a traffic light intersection, a taxi to turn left stood in front of him. Guo Yufeng shouted, “go forward a little, hurry up!” In just four or five minutes, Guo Yufeng sent the patient to the nearest hospital.

“Thank you very much to the taxi driver, who has been comforting us and ran several red lights to take us to the hospital in time.” Ms. Shang said that at present, her husband is still observing in the intensive care unit and his consciousness has recovered slightly, but he is still in a coma.

It’s not the first time Guo Yufeng has met such an emergency. Just last month, Guo Yufeng met three girls and injured them on the way. They were sent to hospital in time. “There will inevitably be some emergencies in our business. In the future, I will try my best to help others. But do good deeds and don’t ask about the future.” Guo Yufeng said.
