For years, Azbit (website: https://azbit.com/) has marketed itself as a reliable and trustworthy service. But my recent experience tells a much darker story — one that raises serious concerns about how this platform handles its customers’ funds and their trust.
My Experience
Locked account It all began when my account was suddenly locked without any prior notice or explanation. As a responsible user who has always followed the platform’s guidelines, this came as a complete shock. I immediately reached out to their support team via email and chat to understand the reason and resolve the issue.
But here’s what happened next:
No Timely Responses: Despite the platform’s claim of 24/7 customer support, I received no meaningful reply to my emails even after a week. The chat support provided vague, repetitive responses like “Support will attend to you,” which felt like an automated bot.
Deliberate Delays: Their responses (or lack thereof) seem to be intentional stalling tactics. It has now been over 7 days without any clear resolution. This delay suggests they might be trying to discourage customers from pursuing their rightful claims.
Funds Withheld: My account holds a significant amount of cryptocurrency — worths $10,000 at the time of writing, which is now inaccessible. This raises the alarming possibility that they are locking accounts to withhold funds from users.
Is This a Scam?
Given their lack of transparency, the repetitive and generic responses, and the withholding of funds, it’s hard not to conclude that this platform is engaging in unethical practices. Locking user accounts without explanation and providing no meaningful support is not only unprofessional but also highly suspicious.
A Warning to Other Users
If you are using Azbit, beware. My situation could happen to anyone. I trusted this platform, only to find myself locked out of my account and left in the dark.
What Needs to Change
Immediate Transparency: Platforms handling users’ funds must provide clear explanations for account restrictions.
Reliable Support: Support systems must operate as advertised and prioritize urgent cases.
Consumer Protections: Regulatory bodies must scrutinise these platforms to protect users from potential fraud.
Final Thoughts
I sincerely hope that Azbit takes this issue seriously and resolves it before their reputation takes a further hit. But until then, users deserve to know the risks they are taking.
If you’ve had a similar experience with Azbit, share your story. Together, we can demand accountability and transparency.
