According to Decrypt, SushiSwap has acquired Vortex Protocol, a Cosmos-based decentralized derivatives trading platform. The amount of the acquisition is currently unknown. Vortex Protocol, built on Sei Network using Cosmos tools, will be another product under SushiSwap and will adopt a new name.

It is reported that Vortex Protocol is a decentralized derivatives exchange that has not yet been launched, aiming to provide users with 10 times margin trading of various assets. Both Sei Network and SushiSwap’s newly acquired Vortex Protocol will be launched on the mainnet in the second quarter of 2023. The move also means that SushiSwap will be one of the first Ethereum applications to migrate to the Cosmos ecosystem.
