RARI Foundation has been in full swing for three weeks now—and the good news keeps coming! Since launch, the RARI Foundation community has voted on and executed 3 proposals to introduce new $RARI listing and trading incentives and community allocations.

Today, RARI Foundation is taking its next step in decentralization of governance, announcing a call for delegates. You can already apply here.

Our goal is to assemble a lean but very engaged governance board qualified in economics, product, finance, community and operations, committed to actively participating in every proposal.

$RARI delegates: How it works

While token rewards have been gradually expanding the amount of veRARI holders, we know that engaged governance requires a lot of time and attention, and not all token holders might be in a position to consider and vote on every single proposal.

That’s why to increase community involvement without making governance feel like work, we are introducing a delegation model.

The way it works is simple: Any $RARI holder can “lock” their tokens to a delegate they trust for a certain period of time. This means the delegate can vote with those tokens as well as their own. As a holder, you can redelegate tokens to someone else (or vote yourself) at any time.

$RARI Delegates will be able to vote on $RARI Rewards Collections and future proposals on behalf of their voters.

While any veRARI holder can vote independently and is always encouraged to do so, you always have the option to delegate your votes — or become a delegate yourself!
