2024 marked Xyxyx’s foundation.

In our inaugural year, we reached significant milestones, such as the launch of XYXYX, the release and ongoing development of the Xyxyx Launchpad, and the foundation, incorporation, and initial activities of Xyxyx DAO. These achievements have established a solid foundation for the long-term existence of Xyxyx.

Although we are proud of what we have achieved, our focus is now on the future. Here’s what’s coming for Xyxyx in 2025:

Xyxyx Launchpad on Testnets

Xyxyx Launchpad on Testnets will enable an isolated testing environment for XIN operators to execute deployments on Testnets (OP Sepolia, Base Sepolia, and Arbitrum Sepolia).

Xyxyx Launchpad advancements

We have been developing several significant advancements for the Xyxyx Launchpad, which will be gradually rolled out in upcoming platform versions.

Xyxyx Launchpad on private L2s

We are developing a framework that enables XIN operators to effortlessly request the deployment of the Xyxyx Launchpad on any permissioned, private Layer-2 network.

Treasury

The Treasury is conceived as a vital module of the Xyxyx Protocol. During 2024, since the IDO of XYXYX on February 23, the Treasury has been accruing a relevant protocol-owned XYXYX reserve.

In 2025, it’s expected further discussions within the community regarding the Treasury holdings and its short-medium-and-long-term role in the Xyxyx Protocol.

Governance

Xyxyx Improvement Proposals (XIPs) are a fundamental component of the Xyxyx Protocol. Within the Xyxyx DAO, any member can propose changes to the protocol, actively shaping the future of Xyxyx. XIPs' decentralized approach provides a blank canvas for the community, leading to exciting and unpredictable developments in 2025.

We are eagerly looking forward to the governance proposals that will arise from the community. In the meantime, the Xyxyx team has been diligently preparing several XIPs, which will be presented for discussion throughout 2025.

Pinedale

Since its launch, Xyxyx has been developed by its founding team.

In Q1 2025, the founding team’s responsibilities over Xyxyx will be formally incorporated into Pinedale, a software company they established.

Through Pinedale, the founding team will continue to make extensive contributions to shaping the future of Xyxyx, overseeing its long-term development, funding, and growth.
