Since August 2024, we have developed the Xyxyx API, a REST API for building text-based tokenization applications on the EVM.

Built from the ground up, Xyxyx API is aimed at providing a novel technology that can be leveraged by multiple industries, from AI and finance to legal and healthcare sectors.

The Xyxyx API will introduce the ERC-721F, a variant of the ERC-721 standard conceived by Xyxyx. ERC-721F is designed to provide highly customizable token issuance by assigning each token an individualized SVG output at the time of minting.

Authentication

The Xyxyx API introduces a new, innovative approach to API authentication by leveraging blockchain technology via the EVM instead of traditional methods like the OAuth 2.0 protocol.

Xyxyx API authentication is achieved through two methods:

• Xyxyx API Keys: Xyxyx API Keys are ERC-721-based tokenized API keys distributed via a public mint event. These API keys are valid for one year, after which they will be redistributed annually via public launches. This approach scales Xyxyx API’s operation costs and access accordingly over the years.

• Xyxyx Issuer Nodes (XINs): XINs operators have full access (perpetual) to the Xyxyx API.
