Staking Letter #13: rHUAHUA & rSWTH & rIRIS Migration Updates

StaFi has been making significant progress in its migration to StaFi Hub. Following the earlier announcement regarding the StaFi Hub migration plan, we are pleased to share updates on the completion of the rATOM migration and upcoming plans for other rTokens, including rSWTH, rHUAHUA, and rIRIS.

The migration of rATOM to StaFi Hub has been successfully completed, marking a key milestone in our transition. The rATOM deployment is fully functional, and users can continue to enjoy seamless staking services.

Upcoming Migrations for rSWTH and rHUAHUA

Following detailed discussions with the respective teams, both SWTH and HUAHUA have agreed to adopt the Liquid Staking as a Service (LSaaS) to deploy new versions of rSWTH and rHUAHUA. As part of this transition, users holding these tokens must take specific actions to ensure a smooth migration.

  • Withdraw Liquidity from rDEX:

    • Please remove your liquidity from rDEX to avoid any issues during the migration.

    • Detailed instructions on how to withdraw liquidity can be found in the guide.

  • Unstake rSWTH/rHUAHUA via rToken App:

    • Go to the rToken App and proceed to unstake your rSWTH or rHUAHUA tokens.

    • A step-by-step guide is available here.

  • Wait for the Unbonding Period and Withdraw Tokens:

    • Once the unbonding period is complete, you can withdraw your SWTH or HUAHUA tokens.

If you have rSWTH liquidity on other Cosmos chains, please bridge your rSWTH back to StaFi Hub first, then follow the steps outlined above.

We encourage all rSWTH and rHUAHUA holders to complete these steps within the next month to ensure a seamless transition.

The withdrawn tokens will be held until both teams deploy new rHUAHUA and rSWTH on Neutron using LSaaS. These tokens will then be staked and used for DeFi activities. Please stay tuned for updates.

Important Update on rIRIS

After extensive discussions with the IRIS team, it has been decided that IRIS will not deploy a new version of rIRIS under the LSaaS model. As a result, the rIRIS token will be retired, and users must follow the steps below to manage their holdings:

  • Withdraw Liquidity from rDEX:

    • Remove your rIRIS liquidity from rDEX.

    • Detailed instructions can be found in the guide.

  • Unstake rIRIS via rToken App:

    • Go to the rToken App and unstake your rIRIS tokens.

    • Follow the instructions available here.

  • Wait for the Unbonding Period and Withdraw IRIS Tokens:

    • After the unbonding period ends, withdraw your IRIS tokens.

We encourage all rIRIS holders to complete these steps within the next month to ensure a seamless transition.

LSaaS Adoption: A Key Milestone for Cosmos LSD Stack

The decision by both SWTH and HUAHUA BD teams to adopt the LSaaS marks a significant step in the broader adoption of StaFi's Liquid Staking as a Service framework. This aims to enhance flexibility and scalability for Cosmos LSD Stack.

Stay tuned for further updates on new deployments and migration processes.

About StaFi

StaFi is a leading Liquid Staking infrastructure provider and protocol for PoS chains. Its Liquid Staking as a Service (LSaaS) framework enables developers to create Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) and Liquid Re-staking Tokens (LRTs) across ecosystems like ETH, EVM, BTC, CosmWasm, and SOL. By issuing rTokens (e.g., rETH, rMATIC, rBNB), StaFi unlocks the liquidity of staked assets, allowing users to earn staking rewards while retaining the flexibility to engage in DeFi. With support for major blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Cosmos, StaFi bridges liquidity and security in Proof-of-Stake networks.
