1. New Point Formula for Season 2

User Points = (Base Rate (t) × Deposit × Vault Multiplier + Loyalty Bonus) × Time Factor × Δt

Formula Highlights

• Base Rate (t): Adjusts in response to the rate of change (ROC) of Total Value Locked (TVL).

• Deposit: Reflects the amount you invest in Harmonix Vaults.

• Vault Multiplier: Indicates the x-value associated with your Vault deposits and is displayed within the Vault interface.

• Loyalty Bonus: An additional factor acknowledging participants who held more than 0 points and maintained an active deposit (existing or new) during the LB Snapshot Period (Feb 19–Mar 2, 2025, 23:59 UTC).

• Time Factor: Utilizes a logarithmic method to reward longer-term participation. Withdrawing all funds resets this factor to 1.

• Δt: A standard 90-day interval to help clarify the timeline for points accumulation.

This design keeps points relatively scarce, prevents abrupt large deposits from overshadowing early contributors, and rewards sustained engagement.

2. Ranking Tiers & Rewards

Tiered Ranking System

To further recognize long-term involvement, Season 2 features Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond tiers, inspired by Hyperliquid Points. Each tier offers progressively greater advantages based on accumulated points.

Notes:

• Median Point: Acts as a midpoint metric that minimizes the effects of outliers, keeping the ranking process equitable.

• Ranking Updates: Your rank is refreshed every 7 days, allowing you to track your progress and remain engaged.

• Users who had enough points in Season 1 to qualify for Gold or Diamond must continue farming in Season 2 to unlock a new tier or maintain that same tier. If they do not farm in Season 2, then at the end-of-season snapshot, they automatically default to Silver.

• Rewards are determined by the final ranking at the last snapshot of Season 2.

• Tenure is accumulated from the time a user starts in Season 2 and does not reset when progressing to a higher tier. For example, if you have already met the 15-day consecutive requirement for Bronze, you only need 5 more consecutive days to reach the 20-day requirement for Silver (assuming you continue farming without breaking your streak).

3. Example Calculation

To better understand how the formula works in practice, consider the following scenario:

User A:

• Deposits $50,000 into KelpDao Vault (4x multiplier) for 90 days.

• Loyalty Bonus: 0.14 points/hour (earned from 10,000 Season 1 points).

• Time Factor: 1+0.1×ln⁡(91)≈1.551+0.1×ln(91)≈1.55

• Points Calculation:(0.03×50,000×4+0.14)×1.55×2,160=20,142 points(0.03×50,000×4+0.14)×1.55×2,160=20,142 points

• Tier Placement: Gold (200,000 required → needs additional deposits).

This example illustrates how deposits, vault selection, loyalty bonuses, and long-term engagement contribute to point accumulation and tier progression.
