In recent days, with the use of a safe bag in the field, the Custodian announced the repatriation of some 90,000 vehicles in the United States. The repatriation covered the three lines of 2000-2006, the five lines of 2000-2003 and the X5 vehicles of 2000-2004, including the M3 and M5 vehicles.
The high-field safety balloon has resulted in more than 100 deaths and hundreds of injuries, known as the dead balloon. On 28 February 2018, the Government of Australia imposed on automotive producers and dealers to repatriate vehicles with high-field gasks, totalling approximately 2.3 million vehicles, the largest Australian vehicle callback operation.
The main clients of the Corporation also include a large number of well-known vehicles, such as Ody, Fods and General, which are the most affected, with nearly 5.1 million globally recruited.
