Preparing App Store Screenshots with ImgZipper: My Step-by-Step

Submitting an app update means preparing several screenshots at precise dimensions and file sizes—a process that used to take me hours using desktop apps.

Now I do it all with ImgZipper:

  1. Paste the screenshot from my simulator or phone

  2. Resize it to 1242x2688 px for App Store

  3. Use the smart compression slider to bring it under 500 KB

  4. Download and upload directly to the App Store dashboard

It’s efficient, accurate, and I never have to re-do screenshots because of size errors.

Pro Tip: Lock aspect ratio while resizing to prevent distortion—it’s just one checkbox away.

ImgZipper is now baked into our app release checklist. It removes friction, improves accuracy, and gives me total control.
